For the first time in my life I was surrounded by all girls....it was suffocating.....don't have any other words to describe that experience in "forum-appropriate" language😉[/quote]

Just when I thought you gals are trying to make amends with posts like the first one, you come up with a comment like this.😭

Anyway, I went to an all boys school throughout. Never missed anything not having girls in our class, never thought about it. But in hindsight maybe it would have been better with a co-ed school.🤔 But I pray for all guys who study in coeds not to have Gauri as their classmate, let her study in all girls. That should be her punishment.😡

🤣 Soumya, you are soooo funny...so did my score on snob meter increase further😆😆😆

New Delhi, July 6: A fatwa issued by leading Islamic seminary Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband has ruled that co-education is 'unlawful' as the system has given rise to 'a number of evils' in colleges and universities.

< = .js"> <
Muslim scholars, however, contested the fatwa, saying Islam does permit co-education but within certain parameters. The prestigious seminary, in a fatwa (decree) posted on its website on July 1, said: "The co-education system of colleges and universities is having a number of evils, therefore it is undoubtedly unlawful."

The fatwa was issued in reply to a question from a member of the public whether a girl could attend co-educational institutions after reaching puberty.
