actually, that was the first batch of "news" that floated around, but apparently, after it, news started leakin out that babita wanted the bachchans to show her what wealth they owned, (coz memba all those bankrupt times?)...because she wanted to make sure that her daughter had a secure future...unlike her, coz her husband left her high and dry and she was left to fend for herself and her two daughters.

Karishma gott married to a divorced dude. So, it don't seem like her mom wanted to. i heard it in somone's interview or something that the dude she got married to was her first love or high school sweetheart. They split and he got married to someone or sumthing, she started dating abhi. But eventually went back to her first love.
