Suchitra's treatment of Dev - Discuss

I wanted to make a separate thread on it.

Suchitra earlier also kept him away and did not mind him being sidelined or bullied. She has always asked him to back off. Or forgive Shaurya, laugh off his mistakes as a kid brother. Now also she wanted to send him to US and herself wanted to leave with him.

Tonight she pushed him away and shouted at him for replying to Shaurya's comments on Nitya.

I see Sakshi, Shaurya consider Dev a non entity. Rajnath is the only one who is a tad kind and at least fakes understanding for him. He was shocked when he learnt Shaurya tried to kill him and even more when Sakshi said buri baat hai ki Dev abhi bhi zinda hai.

Tonight he was the only one who did not mind Dev's outburst.

What's the deal?

Is Suchitra afraid of Sakshi and Rajnath? Is she harsh on Dev because she wants to protect him? Does she know of Arnab's death and its truth? Has she been threatened?

Or did she have an affair with Rajnath at some point too? She does talk to him alone and calls him Raj. Rajnath came to hold her when she fainted hearing about Dev being shot.

Or is there any chance that she is surrogate or something?

Or maybe we are thinking too much and she is just a goody goody soul who does not want any disturbance in family, fears any loss or tragedy after losing her husband? And wants to fulfil her husband's dream of a happy joint family?

Her behaviour gets not only our goat as viewers but also the characters who get irritated by her.

What do you think are the dynamics behind Suchitra's behaviour?

u know i said abt the surrogacy thing on ur other thread myself..i dnt get her behaviour at all..she literally bullies dev, mollycoddles shaurya and listens to him taunting not only dev but also tolerates his misbehavior towards herself.. shaurya was being his usual bratty self bringing nitya into a conversation which was neither here nor there..it was enugh to boil anybody's blood..least of all dev whose sole existence seems to be to find nitya..even more than his own self-respect.. and suchitra actually physically pushed him away to fondle tht brat who turned to her and insulted her..amazing..either she is the most pathetic person ever with not even a shred of self-respect or is biding her time to overthrow raj-sakshi-shaurya..i hope its the latter..i wud love her demeanor to be a pretense coz am tired of the diabetic behavior she shows..

I mentioned this in my post as well...what is the deal with Suchitra...it is one thing to keep the family together n totally another to behave the way she has been behaving ever since the case started...why did she not let dev come when he could have helped PayAl...at least till then PayAl had not said she was a willing accomplice...I want her to stop acting ms goody two shoes be coz the above clearly shows she isn't...she is a selfish woman as well who wanted her son to be away...n it is ok to be selfish sometimes...but at least then don't put on the facade of oh I care so much about PayAl n cry over her condition

I cannot believe Suchitra doesn't know that both Sakshi and Shaurya have profound dislike for her.

Raj and Suchitra affiar? 😲...That's going to give me a shock but then now a days her expressions are creeping me out ...I feel like she is saying something and thinking something else. She is becoming a big mystery now a days.

Suchitra seems to be very strong in her motive of 'no conflicts against the Goenkas'... she even pushed her son to stop him 😲. Maybe Durga can learn from Suchitra reg how to not be swayed by emotions and to stick to the motive... maybe Durga should push Dev aside like that when Dev does his Nitya-chant.. 😆

I hate her over syrupy self and forever saying sab theek ho jayega to everyone! I cannot understand what is up with her! Today even Dev got irritated and slammed in frustration at Shaurya's bedstead after Suchitra pushed him.

What does this woman want to do?
