DIRECTOR SAHAB!! Maar daala zaalim!

uff! Uff! UFF!!! After a literal dearth of good MaNan scenes..to be treated to such visual and melodious treat..UFF! Makes it all worth it! Oh god! I was jumping when I heard the familiar beautiful tune of 'Shaam' in the coming up part but the real scene tou just about killed me!

When the song started with them at the stool and the awkwardness galore, I started squealing. And I didn't stop till it was all over. The genius of Amit Trivedi in the background and the magic of Niti-Parth's chemistry on the screen...MaNan fans! God! How you still alive?!

The shots which lingered on their faces and their hands. The realization of the proximity that they shared. The feeling of sparks flying and them knowing it. For once, they were this close to each other and GOOD LORD! They knew it! They knew they were close! And they were so awkward around each other. Treading so carefully as to not to cross any barrier yet boundaries were crossed. Not in a bad way. But they were, momentarily, transferred from a point where there is only hate between them to an area where hate doesn't exist. Where it's all physical. Where they realize that this proximity, if not treated carefully, can be danger, danger, danger.

For them, not in a good way.

He told her to trust him. And she did.

He offered his hand. And she took it.

Hesitantly, she held on to his shoulder. And he felt it. The touch of her soft hand on his strong shoulder. He saw it, and he realized that it's the first time she willingly reached out to him.

Aah..they were so aware of the moment which was passing. Where there was no one but them. They had no one but each other.

suhani suhani
hai ye kahani
jo khamoshi sunati hai..

I can't even touch the subject of the bloody relevance of the song to their situation. The song talked of the present and the future that is to come. No wonder I am listening to the song on repeat and falling more in love with it each time. AND THE JACKET PART!!! GAAH! Imma dieee!!

Sorry guys, I can't be sensible today. This post doesn't even make sense but kya karoon!! I am a squealing mess still! And will be till tomorrow cuz SHIT! THIS WAS SO DARN BEAUTIFUL!!!

I am not alive. I am dead after today's episode.😆
And your post is making sense to me and It will make sense to all MaNan fans. 😆You explained it beautifully.😳

Manik was such a gentleman today. He was talking so politely to her. He was looking at her face with such a cuteness. The hesitation made the entire sequence so beautiful.
Nandini was looking like a baby and Manik was giving his hand to Nandu. OMG.
These small small moments. I loved it.
Manik was admiring Nandu when she was holding his hand tightly and also when she put her hand on his shoulder.❤️
I am still in that store room.

I will go into episode details later with a episode discussion post but how beautifully they constructthese MaNan scenes with songs, even the Meethi Boliyan was brilliantly done and even today's scene, you could actually picture the blooming of new love, the huge awareness of the their physical proximity, the awkwardness of seeing each other in a new light, the first bloom of a new dawn in their relationship. I am going to be waxing eloquently in my episode discussion post but right now I just want to revel in the magic of the moment. Beautiful gradual construction of a relationship between Manik and Nandu😳

Seriously, ek tou we got a proper MaNan scene after so many episodes and upper se it was THIS magical..how are to we survive?

Manik tou...UFF! That look of absolute amazement on his face! The surprising feeling of being so near to Nandini in a completely different manner than he is used. My absolute favourite part of the who sequence was when her hand just fell into his. UFF! The way he looked at it, like it was a whole new thing that he was saying...AAAH! I am dying again!!

YES! No dreamland, no nothing! Just that storeroom...still there babe..me tooo still there

I seriously can not stop thinking about all the small things that happened...small but so not insignificant. From awkwardness to hesitation to slow acceptance of the situation..everything was so wonderfully conveyed in the little scene..I'm in AWE of the direction of the scene..it was so beautiful! <3

Yes to everything you said! Every significant MaNan scene is always so wonderfully directed and placed. Be it Meethi Boliyan which transformed them to a magical place where it was just them and the music which they played or be it Shaam where no words were said but conversations were conveyed...

This was the perfect way to bring a much needed progress in their relationship. They were bickering just a few minutes ago but when you take it away and put them close out of that bickering zone and into something quiet, sparks fly. And they can feel it. If I consider this scene after yesterday's DhruNi one, the difference is so clear. She was no closer to him than she was with Dhruv not an hour ago. But the feel was so different. That time she wasn't aware of the proximity, here both of them were acutely aware of what was their situation and what was it making them do..

Every second of it, so worthwhile. So, so, so beautiful. Definitely my all time favourite MaNan scene of the show yet..another scene has to work super hard to top this one and GOD! I just hope it does because AAH! What else can a fan ask for?! Beautiful and meaningful..it was the complete package!

I must confess that this was certainly the first time I genuinely felt the Manik-Nandini connection. I was almost worried that I will never really feel the connection between them. I did tonight. And how.
I think the strategic build-up to them transcended the scene from sweet to almost magical. I cannot praise their song choices enough. I completely LOVE how the makers are obsessed with Amit Trivedi like I've always been. Now give me Manmarziyaan and I can die happy.
Nothing more to add to your beautiful post really. It was a moment that demanded to be felt, not analysed. The whole awkwardness and hyper awareness between them, the way the camera fluttered over their faces and hand movements- absolutely brilliant.
I thought it will be the same trip-fall-catch routine which I positively detest, but oh no. The hyper awareness, the music and the facial expressions made into something else altogether. Something almost fairy-tale like.
