Sakshi is a one such person with whom war is not an easy affair. Durga should keep all her senses on and think 10 times ahead of Sakshi.
But Dev is an innocent soul, straight forward, does not know much of manipulations and believes that the world is a best place to be and the people around him are all good unless he gets a strong evidence against them. Thats why he could neither believe that Payal or Nithya could frame the Goenka's family nor could believe that Shaurya , his friends and his parents could be so ruthless. He had always known and believed them to be good people. When it comes to either Payal or Shaurya, he definitely feels that it must be Shaurya who should be wrong and not Payal, but wants full evidence to believe in it.
He still feels that by finding Nithya, he may get some solid answers on what actually happened to Payal and who framed both Payal and Shaurya.
Getting Payal justice is onething and finding Nithya is another. But he links them both as if one would lead to the other and he does not know which one and where to start. And in the mean time, Durga comes in between and he is left totally clueless.
And Durga is aware of the fact that Dev is restless on these three things -

2.What happened to Nithya
3. And where does Durga come into all this.
He has no clue where and how to start
But he would be unrelentingly pursuing on all the three things and as a consequence, he would not only put his life in danger but also Payal's.
If Durga wanted him to stay away from all this, she should not have given him half truth which would only make him more adamant to find out things.
When she gave the diary to him, she should have told that even she had found the diary with the pages missing. That way he would not try to find out from Durga's house for the missing pages. He would not have got any doubt on Durga in the first place (Dr. Dayal guessed that Dev might come and find the secret room and thats why he removed all evidences and Durga might also have guessed that Dev would not be at peace till he got all the pages)
When she told him the whereabouts of Payal, she should have also told him that she has brought Payal to the farm house for her speedy recovery and it is best she should not be exposed to Shaurya or his friends or any one of that age just in case she has a relapse.
She could have also added that she wants Payal's place to be kept in secret as she has some kind of fear and she is not sure what?
She knows Dev only thinks straight. It looks as if he is looking for Durga to put all information in a plate that Shaurya is a culprit, instead of he looking for the truth by himself. Thats why he is always searching Durga's place instead of looking on his own. He should not have returned the RTI files and should have started to spy on the others who testified in Shaurya's favour. He made a good start. But he spoiled it.
Now if he gets the video (with Akash or whatever), he should realize hat its not normal people whom Durga framed but the very ones who testified against Payal. He should then really try to find out why Durga is not just finding out the truth of Payal's case but also getting the people punished and in this pursuit he should get to know that she is none other than Nithya. He may feel betrayed initially. But he should help in getting Payal justice and firstly by talking Durga out of marriage with Shaurya.
But I guess Dev will always be Dumb Dev only.
And coming to Sakshi's big plans, when were her plans ever small? Be it Bagchi, or Payal or even Durga (getting the astrologer say that any one who marries her would die ) she had always been destructive.
I hope Durga is fully prepared and not cry later that she never thought that Sakshi would stoop low to such an extent. Not just Payal, but if any harm comes to Dr.Thakur or Akash, it would be a big blow to Durga.
