Raghav who was looking around for the waiter looks at Prem and Kalpi sitting on the adjacent table.. He wonders what are they doing together and get suspicious as Sammy's accusations are still fresh in his mind.. he excuses himself on pretext of going to the washroom and stands behind the pillar to hear their talks and prays to god to prove his suspicions wrong and curses Sammy for putting him in such position that he is trying to overhear such a person whom he trusts blindly. He apologizes to Kalpi for doing this and bends a bit to hear what they are taking.
"No Miss Jadhav.. This is not possible. I am not going to leave this position for Raghav..n u r wasting ur time by offering me shares in ur company as I am least interested in u or ur company. I entertained u and came to have dinner with u coz u hold 60% shares in Singhania industries n I want our personal issues to not interfere in our work." Prem said.
Just when Kalpi was about to reply, waiter interrupts them by serving icecream that too vanilla with hot chocolate sauce and nuts.. Kalpi's favorite.. She waits for the waiter to leave them alone.
"If they are here for profession talks than why they ordered such informal sweet and that too Kalpi's favorite." Raghav thought in his mind.
"That's sweet of u Mr. Prem that u asked me to order my favorite dessert but I think it's not required anymore as u have rejected my offer n now we don't have any reason to celebrate.. Still thanks for meeting me and giving ur important time.. But let me clear u that u r committing the biggest mistake by rejecting the shares in KJ industries." With this she stands up and tends to leave.
Raghav who heard them feels guilty on doubting her and comes in front of him..
"Raghav.. what r u doing here??" She sounds surprised.
"Just came for some business meeting.. Neways lets leave now." He said while glaring Prem.
Raghav meets the man with whom he came and excuses himself saying he needs to leave now and will meet him tomorrow. After that Kalpi and Raghav leaves in her car and Raghav telling his driver to drop the car at home.
Sammy who watches them leaving feels frustrated on seeing his plan fail... He thanks the man who came with Rag for helping him and bringing Rags to the restaurant. He remembers how he overheard Prem making reservation in the restaurant and than calling Kalpi to confirm the bookings. He fumes on seeing Kalpi's smartness and swears that he will prove her culprit.
In the car Kalpi gets the opportunity to text Prem, "Thank god u saw Rags shadow in ur glares, else he would have caught us today.. But we have to be careful next time. Neways after a long time I felt happy in someone's company. Thanks for the awesome dinner n my icecream is due."
Prem receives her message and wonders what happened to the miss Khadoos who is talking about something else than the revenge.. He feels slowly Kalpi is changing.. though she is still vicious for her enemies but she has started living life again. Now she smiles more often and chats happily which he had never seen her doing in last 5 years.
"Take care of ur Majnu.. I am sure he will give u lots of icecream.. ;-)" He replied teasingly.
Kalpi dint reply back as she doesn't want Rags to doubt on her. Rags tells the driver to stop at some icecream parlour.. Kalpi looks outside the window and remembers that it the same icecream parlour where she used to come with Rags before their marriage.. Rags tells her to step down but she is too lost in her past days.. Once again Rags calls her name and she comes out of her past and looks at Rags.. they share an eyelock.. For few seconds Kalpi forget her reason for being there and just remembers the lovely moments she spent with Rags.. Rags who was searching his old Kalpi from a long time sees a glimpse of her in the Kalpi sitting beside her.
"Do u remember the place..This is still special to me." Unknowingly words slipped out from Rags mouth.
Kalpi just nods in yes.. tears were forming in her eyes.. Rags notices them and was about to keep his hand on hers but hesitate a bit.. A tear fall down from her cheeks... Rags who notices this can't take it anymore and lifts his hand to wipe it.. but before he can touch her cheeks, his phone rang.. Kalpi comes back to the reality on seeing Pakhi's name flashing on the screen. She wipes her tear and scolds herself in mind. Rags receives the call and reprimands Pakhi for calling him without reason.. Pakhi sweetly replies that she just wants to ask about Kalpi as she hasn't arrived yet. "Kalpi is with me n we are on the way." Rags disconnected the call after saying so.
"Com'n Kalpi.. Let's step down and have ur favorite icecream. " Rags said.
"My choice has been changed now. I do not like that icecream now.. N I hate this place as well. Can we just leave??" Kalpi replied rudely.
Rags realizes that Kalpi is hurt on remembering the past and dint argue back.. Silently they drove back to the home but an awkwardness was around them and Kalpi was too angry on herself to let her guard down in front of Rags. They reach home... Kalpi leaves for the room saying she had dinner outside while Rags too leaves for his room without having food. Pakhi fumes on this and assumes that they had dinner together.
"I won't leave u Kalpi... u r back in my life to destroy it but this time I have a strong support with me as my daughter.. u can snatch my husband but can't snatch her father." Pakhi said in her mind.
Gauri who was watching all this is frustrated coz of Kalpi in their house. She fumes thinking this Kalpi is a bad omen for my home and son.
Kalpi reaches her room and looks at her wound.. It was about to heal.. She gets angry and slaps herself.. "How dare u Kalpana... how dare u forget ur wound and let it heal. How could u forgot all that happen with u and just let this bloody teart come out of ur eyes and that too in presence of that scoundrel. U were feeling for that man.. that man who ruined ur life.. See urself Kalpna.. see the loneliness around u.. This is all because of him.. N u.. Shame on u!!" She said loudly and start slapping herself... Finally she takes out the knife kept beside her bed and starts digging the wound.. Blood starts oozing out.. She feels little pain as in anger she dug it too deep.. in frustration she throws the vase on the floor and it breaks into pieces.. She kneels down and starts crying.. She was crying after a long time and doesn't know whether the tears are coming coz she became weak or coz of the pain of love she is feeling after seeing Rags with Pakhi. Rags who was passing by hears the sound of vase and goes to her room.. The room was close and Rags doesn't want to disturb her.. But something stops him from leaving and from the small guess of door he tries watching inside.. Once his mind reprimands him for peeping in girl's room but soon his heart and concern justifies that she is not any girl but his Kalpi and he feels that she is in some pain.. From the glass he notices Kalpi picking the broken pieces of vase while crying and her t-shirt is full of blood. He lifts his hand to knock the door but realizes that it's not locked from inside.. he steps in worriedly and looks at Kalpi... throws the pieces of vase from her hand..He forgets everything around and just hugs her.. Kalpi is too surprised to say anything.. Finally he breaks the hug and takes out the first aid box kept in the table.. And band aids her hand.. She just stays mum and looks at his concern.. Tears were rolling down from his eyes.. She wonders that is he the same man who did all that in the past. After band aiding her hand she touches her shoulder.. She screams a little in pain.. He slides down the t-shirt from one side.. She stops him by holding his hand.. He looks at her and their eyes meet.. He hold gets weaker and t-shirt slides down a bit.. Rags looks at the wound and cleans it with cotton.. She can see her pain in his eyes and the keeps looking at him lovingly. As he cleans the wound.. he looks at the deep cut and blows it lovingly. Tears were coming from their eyes.. Finally he does her first aid and turns to leave but she holds his hand and hugs him. He caresses her hand and lovingly puts her to sleep.. She lies down and closes her eyes. Rags leaves the room and closes door while going. Kalpi opens her eyes as soon as he leaves.
"What was all this?? The concern and love, I saw in his eyes were true. He was feeling my pain but if he loves me so much than why he did this to me.. Or he is innocent?? But how can he be innocent when he himself confessed to Ayi that he wants to move on with Pakhi. No, he can't be innocent. I myself has seen him with Pakhi.. They were so.." He throat constricted while speaking further.. All she can remember was seeing Rags sleeping with Pakhi and their clothes lying on floor. For the first time she is confuse about Rags being the culprit and decides to investigate further as either he is trying to fool her again or someone else fooled her and framed Rags.
Pakhi who has seen Rags entering Kalpi's room followed him and witnessed their closeness.. She is very furious and swears to make Kalpi pay for it.
