All the talk of a falling-out between Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor is now water under the bridge. Not only do they continue to be besties, they don't skip half a chance to party together.
On Saturday, Karan Johar hosted a bash and invited Kareena, Malaika Arora, her sister Amrita Arora, Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillai and others. There's speculation as to the reason for the bash, but given that it was the 85th birth anniversary of Karan Johar's late father, Yash Johar, one might have expected a low-key party.
The revelers drank, dined, chatted and posed for photographs many of which they later shared on social media.
Very often even Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are invited to Karan Johar's bashes, but that wasn't the case this time.
More than anything, this coming together of Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor yet again proves that the two remain thick as thieves despite Kareena walking out of K-Jo's production Shhuddhi.
Not long back Johar had said at an event, "I think there can be only one Kareena. I am extremely close to her. I love her for what she is on celluloid and as a person. She has that certain spunk, energy in her."
