i think it has crossed 2 states acc to all other sites except BOI which is still 7 crores behind😆...i can understand the diff if it had been a big budget movie but in case of medium budget difference of 7 crores is way too much...BOI has surely done some miscalculations

Ek Villain Beats 2 States' Lifetime Collections; Now 3rd Highest Grosser Of 2014

Ek Villain after its 3rd week at the box office now rests 105.50 crores beating Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor starrer2 States box office numbers. The Mohit Suri film took everyone by surprise when it challenged the opening day collections of the year's highest opener, Salman Khan's Jai Ho. Though 2 States did a commendable thing when it entered the 100 crore club with such ease, Ek Villain upped the bar with fluid ease.

Ek Villain that starred Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor now stands as the third highest grosser of 2014 after Holiday that rests at lifetime total of 112.65 crores and Jai Ho that rests at a lifetime total 111 crores.

No, they are saying 97 crores in 3 weeks and 98 crore net lifetime. 😕

I finally saw this movie and I can't tell a lie I started crying . 👏👏 It was that sad. I had very little preconceived thoughts going in cause im not a fan of Sid or Shradda or A 2. But I liked this film . I thought the story awesome and some scenes I loved were when : Shradda told him she was gonna die , the train sequence and how she got off the train , the end with Sid and him giving his hand to that little kid instead of shooting him actually any scene with Sid and the little kid was really cute 😭😭. Im still not ready to give Sid any best actor awards but this film was his best so far . So he is getting better . 9 times out of 10 I still wanna punc😊h Shradda Kapoor in her face when I see her onscreen 😆😆 but she did do well in this film . She was kind of annoying in the beginning of the film but she got less annoying when she was dying 😆😆😆😆. I am a huge Ritesh D fan and as usual he has given a nice performance. His wife was pretty funny throughout the movie too 😳😳. Kamal R Khan was a scene stealer . I dont much about the guy but he can bit parts in films well . The songs were awesome and they really fit well . I have not seen a hindi movie fit the songs os perfectly since maybe 7/8 years or something . There were lame portions like Shradda Kapoors bad acting in the beginning or the fight Ritesh/Sid had in the hospital but even with those blemishes I would rate this movie highly . A 8 out of 10 for Maroon ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Its the best film ive seen all year

Then again the only movies I have seen this year are Jai Ho , Kick, Gunday and HTP

So do with that what you will but if you have not seen this movie than do watch it

Have to agree with Franco, this film is just outstanding and Riteish for me was just brilliant, every time he was with the dead bodies and then he just takes jewellery to gift his wife which I thought was very creepy and disturbing, it freaked me out, I literally had felt my heart beating so fast...very very good film! I definitely feel that Riteish should do more these kind of roles because he's proven himself and the critics and even audiences he can play different roles. I do love his work with comedy but this role in EV is his best work till date. "Sulo" "Sulochana" every time you hear the way he said his wife's name creeped you out...

Siddharth has definitely improved as an actor, he shouldn't be called wooden at all, he had many expressions throughout the film. He can even more better, he surprised me a lot and I have to acknowledge the fact he was very very good, I'm happy for him because he proved to me he can act. Shraddha I'm probably in the minority but I liked her performance in this film, some people find her OTT but I think she did very well, she's very expressive. Aamna Sharif was good also with her supporting role, and KRK...what can I say? He was decent as well, didn't think he would be that good but he was decent.

A Sid new fan after EV.. Finally watched da movie.. liked it bt it was'nt upto my expectations.. Guru Aisha scenes wer very less... Most of da scenes wer already seen in da songs.. so they had very few new scenes to offer :( otherwise i simply loved their chemistry (watever scenes they had in da movie) An angry young man like Guru fell in love with Aisha very quickly..😕 they had a rushed up love story nd they got married very soon.. flashback scenes wer less.. :( nd coz off dat i found da movie short too.. did'nt get it y Aisha was leaving Guru wen they both knew 4rm da starting dat Aisha is suffering 4rm cancer den y leave suddenly..?😕😆 i used to thnk by seeing dat scene in da song dat Guru must hav hurt her dats u she must be leaving.. bt i did'nt get da purpose of her leaving Guru suddenly like dis.. lol bt i loved dat train scene of Guru Aisha specially she gets off train nd Guru cries nd hug her.. dat was awwesome. nd my most fav scene..😛 Sidharth emoted really well there.. 👍🏼

Liked 1st half part of da movie more.. after dat i found it a little bit dragged... although i loved da ending of da movie nd da message which it gave.. bt there wer many bloopers nd flaws in da movie too like Ritesh getting alive back 4rm Dead..😆 Guru still got saved after getting stabbed nd felling down 4rm da same floor 4rm which Aisha fell down.. nd many more.. found its story weak too.. bt loved its songs nd Videography of Songs.. Songs wer da best part of da movie..👍🏼 Found shraddha OTT nd loud in da starting of da movie bt after dat loved her acting.. Liked Sid acting too.. he really emoted well with his eyes nd played da role of angry young man awesomely.. bt found him a little weak in da action sequences.. nd specialy dialogue delivery in action sequences.. otherwise he was awwesome in da movie.. specially his scenes with Shraddha nd dat Kid..😳 Ritesh was good too although i dont like him.. 😆 his chracter was creepy... Aamna shareef was also awwesome in her role of a nagging wife. she played it convincingly..👍🏼 nd KRK was quite funny in da movie.. it was looking like he was playing himself.. His 2 Rs joke nd da scene where he acts like dat he is dead was too funny.. LOL

Overall a good movie specially coz of its actors nd songs... bt its story was weak.. nd it became predictable in da 1st half of da movie.. coz i thought dat it will be a thriller nd will hav twists (wat was seen in da promos) bt it became predictable too early.. liked dis movie bt i loved Aashique 2 more den dis movie coz of its powerfull story nd romance.. EV had less romance which i really wanted to see :( although i did'nt liked da ending in A2 which i liked in EV bt still Aashique 2 was a class apart !!

Bt i'm Very happy 4 da success of da movie nd 4 reaching 100 crores club.. Sidharth Malhotra totally deserves it nd i hope he will rock in da future too..👍🏼
