They were now driving to Dipali's house. Dipali kept talking and trying to discuss different things with him while RK just concentrated on the road ahead and didn't respond. Dipali breathed in frustrated. "Do you never speak?" She asked irritated.

"I don't chatter uselessly.." he said still focusing ahead.

"Ohh.. I thought being with Madhu you must be used to useless chattering by now.." she said trying to taunt him.

RK turned his head to her and glared at her dangerously. "You want to go home or should I throw you here..?" He said in a cold tone.

Dipali smiled at him trying to flatter. "I was joking.. You are too serious Rishabh.. I thought we would make a laugh.." she said covering up.

RK turned his head back to the road ahead. There was a silence for the next 5 minutes and before the 6^th minute could start they reached Dipali's house.

"Why not have a coffee?" Dipali said smiling as she kept her hand on his.

RK held her hand and glared at her angrily and pushed her hand away with a force. Dipali groaned in pain.

"Don't you have etiquettes?" She couldn't help but scream.

"No I don't.. Now get down.." he said angrily.

Dipali looked at him shocked.

"Out!!" He screamed. Dipali fumed and got down and banged the door close. RK drove away.

He was now driving to his house. He had to cross the office again on his way back. He was driving through the next street from office when he noticed a figure like Madhu walking. He saw her intently and found it was Madhu indeed. He stopped the car beside her.

"What are you doing?" He asked confused.

"What?? I am going home... what else do you think?" She asked baffled by his strange question.

"But why are you walking? You said you had arrangements to go back.." he asked angrily.

"Yes I have.. Look I have arranged for my feet.." she said acting excited.

"Madhu..Get in the car.." he said angrily.

"Do you think I would go with you?" She asked not believing him.

"Yes I think you would go with me.."

"Go away RK.."

RK got down. "Would you just sit without arguing.. and do I need to remind you again its Rishu!!." he said determinedly.

"No need to argue..I am not sitting.." she said firmly.

"I wont let you walk like that.. and its about to get dark.."

"I have walked all my life in darkness and thorns.." she said defiantly with burning eyes as if accusing him. Again those eyes made RK madly fall in love with her. He had loved her before of course but now those burning eyes made him go crazy for her even more.

"Wow..." escaped his mouth as he felt himself lost in them.

Madhu looked at him confused and baffled.

"I want to burn in that fire" RK said as if lost.

Madhu averted her gaze as she breathed in her frustration.

"You know I loved you for your ocean like beautiful eyes" he said still dreamily lost in her "but your fiery burning eyes make me go crazy in passion for you.."

Madhu looked at him suddenly dumb struck. She was also lost in those passion filled eyes he was looking her with. They both conveniently forgot where they were as they stood staring each other's eyes. They jerked back into their senses when a car passed by them.

Madhu nervously averted her gaze as she felt her emotions building up in them. She was scared of herself lest she would show her feelings in front of him. She started walking again. RK walked behind her and held her arm as he forcefully made her face him.

"Madhu I told you to get inside the car." He said angrily seeing her walking away.

"And I told you I won't" she said with a shaking voice as she held back her tears..

"Are you crying..?" RK asked suddenly getting restless.

"No I am not" Madhu said firmly straightening her eyes..

"Fine! Now get in" RK said calmly.

"I am not.. stop irritating me.." Madhu said as she walked forward.

"I cant let you go like this.. Its already getting dark.." he said tired of arguing with her.

Just then a car stopped beside them. "Is there a problem?" Sikander peeked out.

"No Sikky its okay.." RK said in an instant. He had been quite in conversation with him in his few months in the office.

"No there is a problem.." Madhu said walking towards Sikander.

"What happened?" Sikander asked concerned.

"Actually Rishu had to drop me home because of the strike but suddenly he has got some urgent work and he wont be able to drop me now.." Madhu said making a worried face and looked at RK sympathetically. She smiled at RK with blinking eyes who glared at her in anger. RK couldn't believe how conveniently she cooked up the whole story.

"No I will drop you Madhu.." RK said trying to intervene.

"No Rishabh.. There's not a problem at all.. I will drop Madhu.." Sikander said smiling. "You need not worry now.."

"No Sikky its fine.." he tried to argue.

"Yes Rishu.. he is right.. You go and get your work done.. He would drop me.. and you wont even have to worry for me walking home alone in dark.." Madhu smiled evilly and then walked to the other side of the car and sat in.

"Okay Rishabh.. See you tomorrow.. Dont take tension I will inform you as soon as Madhu reaches home.." he said smiling as he understood that RK was genuinely concerned for her.

RK didnt want to but he had to smile at Sikky. He knew it was Madhu's stubbornness and Sikky was just helping them. They both drove away while RK stared at the car in anger.

"What does he think of himself..?" Madhu muttered under her breath.

"Did you say something?" Sikky asked confused.

"No... Nothing.." she said getting conscious.

" Is everything alright? I mean.. Rishabh suddenly had some work.. Everything is fine right?" He asked concerned.

" Yes.. Everything is good..." she said smiling.

" You both seemed worried too when I came?"

"No... He is a bit stubborn.." she said as if tired of him

"He is? Then he is quite like you.." Sikky said chuckling.

Madhu blushed hearing him. "Wait.. Did you just say I am stubborn..?" She suddenly retorted.

"No... I meant you both are quite similar. In your behavior and ways of working.." he said thoughtfully.

Madhu didn't know whether she should be happy or sad. She knew who RK really was and what all he had done. He was indeed a heartless man and Sikky says they both are similar. Does this mean she is like him too? Is she also heartless? She did wrong with RK.. She did break his trust. Does that make her similar to what RK is? Yes.. She too has done wrong with him and that makes her equally heartless to have broken his heart like that. She remembered their date and how she had played with his feelings. A tear formed in her eye that fell on her cheek jerking her. She touched her cheek slightly and noticed the wetness. She stared almost horrified at her finger. What kind of a relation exists between them? She is the one who has hurt him and still does yet she cries for him. If he is that much of a beast then why does her heart pain for him?

"He was really worried about you.." Sikky said smiling.

Thats when Madhu came out of her thoughts almost jerking back to reality. She gave him a blank smile.
