I think that is more likely the explanation as his character comes off as very professional.

But I thought airmen are allowed to carry a firearm with them in the cockpit. I don't know if that has changed but I have always thought it was allowed. That part was a little suspicious.

akash is mysterious but is very observant though some credit goes to the newspaper also. So far makers have succeeded in confusing ppl regarding him being + or - .

i agreed too newspaper reading is good thing that can help us to know what's going on the world and Aakash knows it how to use it
