I do not hate the kid because i cannot hate him. He's cute but yes he is definitely over hyped and over rated. My topic relates to the fact that he got the highest score on the chart shown at the end of episode today. it was depressing for me. the problem is not with Akshat or his fans, it is the channel and judges. First the channel puts a 10 year old kid in competition with adults. It was definite that due to his cuteness everyone is gonna like him but the point is he is being compared with adults. Ashish, Shakti and Mouni are in semi-finals, great for them, they deserved it but i'm afraid Karan might be eliminated next week just because the kid would be preferred, obviously for being a kid and making it to the finals.
secondly, the judges are always praising Akshat and giving him 30 whether he performs good and bad. If i'm not wrong, I think he is the only one in the show who has frequently got a 30.
I believe all the adult contestants are 10000 times better dancers than Akshat and most of them are ill with increase in stress levels. I really felt bad for Shakti, Ashish, Mouni and Karan.
The kid has definitely more energy level than adults, its natural.
The channel used this tactics last time and then too the kids were controversial. I don't why Colors prefers to involve kids in a dance reality show. Why not start Junior Jhalak where kids from all soaps get the chance to compete, that would be a fair show. I believe just for gaining commercial success the channels many times go overboard. I don't know if Jhalak is fixed right now or not but yes today it was sad to see the four amazing dancers falling behind Akshat in scores.
And yes i have no reservations in saying anything about the channel. If you are hiding commercialism behind the facade of revenue that wrong. I think media should have some ethics and they are at a service to their viewers by providing quality entertainment. If this is what you call quality entertainment, when so many people get irritated due to your choice of judges, keeping a kid in an adult show and utilising your gimmicks to keep the show running because this is what sells, then you are wrong, unethical entertainment never sells but commercialism do. I know all Ashish, Shakti, Mouni and Karan fans must be sad today. Our favs our ill, how can we be happy.
