Airlines

Airlines focus on the life of a young an ambition female pilot who wishes to fulfill her grandfather's dream of becoming an ace pilot. While the story may be intriguing, when compared to a show like Diya Aur Baati Hum (another show focusing on a career oriented female) the show falls short. From direction to execution, the show lacks conviction. From the get go, a melodramatic aura blankets the crucial underlying statement that female pilots have a greater struggle than male pilots. Scenes like passengers refusing to board flight due to a female pilot seem amateur and the Tulip Joshi lacks conviction. We do not recall any incident where we have heard about passengers denying to board a flight just because the pilot is a lady! The show needs a lesson or two from some previous series like Saara Aakash and Choona Hai Aasman.

Just in case anyone wants to read before clicking.
EDIT: Seems like a fair critic to me.
