Hey Trina, I liked the episode too. :)
The dhaaba scene reminded me of my favourite ArHi. Remember that dhaba scene? Khushi was so hilarious in it. :') SJ has good comic timing, not as good as Sanaya's but still. :P Seher scene was my favourite part in the episode. Aahil and Latif scene was good too.
Precap was the best part of the episode though! Both Nawab and Begum look gorgeous!
As for SeHaan, I am neutral to them at this point but I don't think they are happening. Didn't get the signature Gul Khan "couple premonition" with them.
I'm also not too excited for them because they would be a repeat of AsYa. Don't get me wrong, I'm not comparing AsYa with SeHaan like many are but I'm just talking about the type of love story they had would be same (opposites attract). Can I also just say I take grave offence to how many are comparing AAK with Rehaan? For me there is NO comparison whatsoever. AAK was a man of principles, while Rehaan is a mute spectator in his mom's plans. He also doesn't have a fraction of the intensity AAK had.
I like your take on Sehan very much. I do like Seher as a character played by SJ. But as this is a daily soap however much we like both roles to be played by her it does have its drawbacks and even now I can see how much it affects SAHIL. And a Sehan paring however cute would still DILUTE Sahil however much we deny at this point. Unless they give VERY little focus to it or have someone else play Sehar.
Hence however much I try I just can't help but feel this nostalgia for the GREAT and EPIC love story that was shaping up between Ahil and Sanam leading to and immediately after marriage PRIOR to Sehar's entrance. That story also had a moderate amount of comedy element to it between Sahil though not the OTT element required by the Sehar character.
THAT STORY would have had the focus on SAHIL just like Arshi in IPKK and maybe would have even turned out to be even better than IPKK as Sanam is a more mature and stronger character than Khushi (minus the comedy ofcourse) and Ahil is more COMPLEX with more DEPTH than Arnav.
Sehar's comedy element is good but I just don't see why they couldn't have explored the comedy elements of Sahil more and come up with a moderate amount of lightness without losing focus on sahil by having SJ play Sehar.
As it is now I feel that AHIL is just being used for romance and it is such a waste as his role is being played by SUCH a phenomenal actor like KVB.
Anyways lets see how things shape up. Maybe we might still get this PHENOMENAL Sahil story though I don't see how that could happen without some drastic focus on them.
I hope I am not offending anyone here. Just giving my two cents worth.
