I did not find the idea appealing because Rehaan has been in love with Sanam and it's just very very weird that he will now romance Seher, who is her identical twin.
But, I think it will be very interesting because of how it plays out on Tanveer. Ahil turning against her is not going to be that big a deal for her since he is not her son. Rehaan turning against his mother, finally being the one to defeat her and cause her downfall, because he loves Seher, will be more worth watching than anything else.
Tanveer is an out and out selfish person, but the little hint of affection she has had in her life ever has been for Rehaan, even though she puts herself before him in many ways. But even that little affection can be brutal when her own son goes against her.

So yeah, if that's the angle they want to show later by promoting Seher and Rehaan, I am all for it. Plus, they do make a ton of sense.
