So as Shreya asked in the previous thread and others must be wondering, I was able to send the gifts yesterday. In addition to the watch-frames, I managed to add some other small gifts to the parcel.
I had informed Vijay that the gifts will reach his team on Saturday. I opted for Fedex instead of the normal post office to ensure earliest delivery. Yesterday when I posted, I was told that it will reach India today. When I tracked the delivery status this morning, the parcel is still in Dubai! I called the customer service and I was told that it shall be delivered on Tuesday, September 9th. I got angry cuz I had paid extra just to make sure that it arrives on time. The Fedex guys promised me to retrieve my parcel and hand it back to me tomorrow if the shipment hasn't left Dubai yet so that I can send it via some other company. Vijay asked me to contact Ruchika Singh. She said that 7th is not the last day of shooting and she's currently finding out what day it would be. She'll also make sure to visit the sets on that day. I'm kind of conflicted now.. should I get the parcel back from Fedex and send it through someone else or let them deliver it on Tuesday?
I'm kind of disappointed. Anyhow, here's what I have in the parcel

Just wrote a short message from us all in few minutes. Although I missed some of the important points I wanted to include, it still conveys the important message that RR was loved and cherished.
Let's hope that we get them the stuff on time!
P.S.: You know what? I just saw that Ashish's Tshirt and Sanaya's top are color-coordinated.. I did not plan that at all!!! 😃
