"Whose this dad??" A 17 year old girl asked. She is wearing black trouser with red top which is almost hidden behind her kitchen Apron.. her hair tightly binded in a bun covered with a chef cap.
His papa dint listen and still busy in the book.
"Uffo dad.. why r u reading ur own recipes??" She asked while trying to gain his attention once again.
Her father finally looks up.. He is in his late 40s but still looks as charming as he was 20 years ago.. "The Indian party menu recipes by Umesh Gangawal" He said while reading the title of the book.
"Nia.. u know I want every recipe to be perfect and it is the trial copy of my 6th book..so I have to recheck it again. Neways u looking cute!! M sure u are the heir of my restaurants unlike ur brother, who is interested in his car and engineering only." He said while feeling proud on seeing her daughter's interest in cooking.
"Thank u Dad... but look at this pic na... who is she??" She asked while showing a photo to her..
"Ohh u dint recognize her?? Look carefully... she is the current champion of Female F1 race... She is Nishu!!"
"What Champ bua n like this... She looks so different... This torn jeans with tank top and open shirt... n jumping from... Is this jaipur fort?? Whoa!!" She replied in astonishment.
"Nishu was like this only... She hated to wear the traditional dresses which now she has to wear for her award ceremonies but still as u have observed.. She wears all the sort of formal suits only. None of us have imagined that Nishu will become so responsible and famous after her marriage.. Marriage?? We have not even expected that Nishu will ever fell in love." He said while searching something in the almira.
"That sounds interesting.. btw what are u searching dad??" She asked curiously.
"One minute.. just got it." He replied while cleaning dust from an old album.
He shows the old album of all cousins to his daughter. She is astonished to saw a handmade album with comments written after each pic.
"Nisha has gifted this album to all of us on her wedding day.. We all cousins have only copies of it while she treasured the original saying it's her memories and not a gift that she won't keep a copy."
Nia interestingly starts flipping the pages while looking at album amusingly.. She knows almost all of them except Nisha as she is the one who least visits them coz of her work commitments.. One pic catches her attention... Nisha is throwing french fries on some guy.. She reads the comment.. " french fries bath.. My 1st unofficial date!!" She shows it to her dad who laughs on seeing it.
"What dad... why r u laughing like crazy and what's the story behind it?? Tell me naa!!"
"Arey nothing... the pic is of Dolly di's wedding where we were trying to find Mr. Right for Nishu and has set up her date with Ritesh.. That was really a funny moment." He said while laughing.
"Common dad... Tell me in detail.." She demanded
"Ok, listen" He replied while getting nostalgic.
