Alka is a very real character. The turmoils and confusions she has in her mind are quite realistic. I am happy that she is not typical preachy, sacrificial kind that an eldest kid is supposed to be. She is very sweet like Peeya said. She has this bit of inferiority complex which is there because the kind of upbringing she had , the introvert character she is.Nevertheless she has the guts and sparks in her and she has proved that she cannot be cowed down. I like her portrayal very much.

yaa intially i dont like her much...but now she behaves properly..by agreed to marry rohan...rejecting rajeev...stil she seems very unhappy at heart... she s trying to move on...

She is concerned about her family and even her own happiness... not the typical SACRIFICE everything for family saga. She fought the best for her love, and then and only then she expressed her complaints and inferiority feeling which she had since these years, and that outburst is completely justified for me... and once she found out that it was wrong, she is completely for her family's happiness, a kind of prayaschit !!!

Actually I m just enjoying watching these sisters, how they handle each other, especially Alka and Anushka!!!

Yeah! I love watching them too.. For one, they aren't over doing anything.. They are just perfect... And secondly, each of their fears and ambitions are completely justifiable, if you actually look at it carefully... And thats what I like about this show... The love sagas are like adding masala.. but the basic crux, according to me is very strong and in one word, I'm IMPRESSED!

Initially i didn't liked alka...but yes now her character is shaping well...finally she stood for her family...
