The episode starts with Aarti trying to make a call but had to stop as she felt being spied by Danny . She went outside only to notice Anoushka who confronted her asking her what was she doing. Aarti says she is trying to get network to make a call and then leaves. A suspicious Anoushka is like - we need to catch her red handed and with proof.
Aarti goes to the kitchen to make her call telling the person on the other end that she needs to meet the latter. Danny and Kabir hear her and plan to catch her. Aarti goes to Dugbaa and lies that her dad is unwell and leaves for her home as Dugbaa will take care of Saraswati. Anoushka hears the conversation of the two ladies and feels that "daal mein kuch kaala hain" - something is indeed fishy in there!
Danny and kabir follow Aarti up to the asylum. Aarti meets Gumaan and gives her a duplicate key. It is the key of a door - a secret way, to get out of the asylum. Gumaan is happy and ready to get out to do bigger things. She also gives him the picture of the nurse who will help her to evade. Aarti leaves before anybody spots her. When Danny and Kabir reach there, Aarti is gone. They tried to get her address in vain. The nurse there refuses to help them.
Kumud is crying and thinking of Saraswati's words. She goes to her room as the door was open. She sees Aarti. Kumud is perplexed. Aarti is all happy, admiring herself in the mirror with dupatta on her head. She looks happy for getting engaged with Saras. Kumud is like - she was supposed to be helpless but how come she is so happy but then dismisses the thought.
Gumaan is being helped by Nurse Mina to run away. She is dressed as a nurse and is shown the way. Mina leaves. But when Gumaan tries to open the door, she is caught by the guard. She immediately acts like mad. She is sent it.
Back home, Dugbaa is looking after a coughing Saraswati who insists on talking to aarti regarding hers and Saras' engagement. Aarti again promises to fulfill Saraswati's wish. Dugbaa is upset and stunned watching the two and goes away. Kumud is sad as it is Saras' engagement today. Saras tries to lift up her mood but Kumud is still upset. A sadder Saras reassures her that he will make things right and to trust him. He is going through worse than her. They will not lose and will always be together, he says. Saras again reassures her that he only knows that nobody can come between him and Kumud and this is it. He asks Kumud if she trusts him. She nods. They both say - I love you to each other.
