I think he either suspects something or is truly skeptical about DB's "transformation". I think he is hiding behind his exaggerated reactions and comments and trying to figure out what's going on. When he gave Anandi the photo album, I felt as though he was deliberately testing her and trying to gauge her behavior.

This was a guy who spent years in captivity in a hostile environment. He, of all people, should be able to spot the signs of instability and abnormal behavior bordering on psychotic.

Like vivek done infront of Saurab i too think Anoop sekhar is faking his anger so that in happiness DB will tell something and he will be figure out the reason behind Anandi's sickness

Agree with theepetronaus. Anup always had these shades. Earlier too I think he was giving lectures about how girls manipulate the law in general during rasika's track. Felt he over exaggerated things then too. He must have got some qualities from DB. Glad he wasn't there to influence Shiv in his younger days.

Of he had been the role model as a father then God knows what kind of men would Shiv n Mahi hae been

Ab tak if the CVs did not get the idea of using him in that way They will now use him as a tester for DB Riught now the Anup tormenting Anandi will emerge as a hero
