Who in this site goes too watch sports events live? How much does it cost if you do?

I am a season ticket holder at Manchester United Football Club. I have been for several years, when i first started it was about 220 pounds, nowadays the prices have gone through the roof, Season ticket renewal has gone up a further 12% this season for me and it now is at over 450. I have renewed it again but i find it hard that every year it goes up and up, i support them whole heartedly and will watch them religiously but i feel i am not being rewarded for my loyalty as a fan and that is the view of a lot of sports fans who watch there teams in any sport.

How do you feel about todays prices to watch your heroes in action? do you feel you get your monies worth?

No Prices keep on going on. Chelsea have frozen prices for next season, but so damn exoensive and not really worth it.

Certainly not for us students...especially if we support a team that isnt our hometown...as you have travel expenses too but also you cant get to every game whilest school is on.

So Season tickets definutely not worth it for me....

One off tickets are also expensive anyays, so only been to a few games.... ๐Ÿ˜ณ as i would rather watch it if its on TV anyways. Less Hassle and you can chuck things at the Tv too. ๐Ÿ˜†

Yes agreed, the atmosphere is amazing at matches....but u have to weigh up pros and cons...but in the end we forget abt the expensure and just go no matter what the cost... ๐Ÿ˜ณ Its almost like a once in a lifetime experience ๐Ÿ˜‰

yeah, i few of my friends and i once got invited to a footie match and we were in one of the exectutive boxes as guests, as we watched the mnatch on tv in the box the atmosphere was rubbish, it would have been better out in the stands with the other fans,

i think there should be some kind of ticket price cap for 2-3 yeras at a time, its crazy in some sports teams expect there fans to fork out loads of cash every season

This is my first post here.....๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Nice topic Nugs๐Ÿ˜Š,

Well i usually watch sport on tv, i've been to a football & Tennis match to watch LIVE, but although the atmosphere was really great, i couldn't enjoy to the fullest, coz i felt i couldn't see things properly!๐Ÿ˜†

Well abt the ticket prices, yeah they are expensive,, but i think it's worth it if the team u're cheering for, wins!!! Otherwise you feel bad that u spent so much money for a stupid game๐Ÿ˜†

Love,
Gracella

I only ever been to Leicester matches.

Not that expensive coz they are in a lower league, but still not worth it because they always lose whenever I go ๐Ÿ˜†
