I can totally relate to this. Aahil fell for her guts, her Khuddari and daring. But he knows nothing about HER, except she loves her family dearly. What kind of a person she is, what are her likes , OCDs, dislikes, hopes in life, dreams, her relationship with her Badi Ammi and Haya, her dhaba. Her search for her parents' truth. He knows she is innocent and naive, gets into trouble because of it.
She on the other hand knows he is gruff on the exterior but very generous and kind inside. He has nightmares about something horrible that happened to him. He likes a certain kind of food, and thinks he likes a certain type of girls. She sees his devotion to his Ammi, and his sisters, and his respect for older people. He is moody and grumpy, but actually is very much like a child wanting attention.
He is precious to her.
He needs a crash course in what makes Sanam tick.
They need to get out of that house. If only for a whole night, stranded somewhere, where there is nothing but each other as company. Away from Tanveer's meddling and radar.
