With the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities around the corner, we got our favourite STAR Plus characters to share some sweet recpies with you. This Ganesh Chaturthi, let's cook up some yummy mithai to welcome Ganeshji into our lives and houses.

Our very own Mithai king, Sooraj shares, "Modak's are a must have during Ganesh Chaturthi. These are nothing but sweet dumplings relished by Ganeshji. It can be made with rice flour and it has the stuffing of coconut and jaggery. This is the traditional modak and it is really tasty."

After taking some classes to learn special mithais, we had to get Ishita to share her secret. Ishita smiles, "After modaks, Ganeshji's favourite is Besan Ladoo. Ladoo's need to be made correctly if you want them to come out right. Prepared with besan, ghee, coconut and sugar, this one just turns out right. Garnish it with almonds to make it everyone's favourite."

Aastha shares her special recipe to impress everyone in the house, "This Ganesh Chaturthi, make Boondi ka ladoos. Everyone with or without a sweet tooth, can't resist these. Made with besan and sugar syrup, when hot, its to die for! Make these, and Lord Ganesha will be mighty impressed!"

So, aren't these interesting? Do share some of your own recipes with us! We would love to try those as well.
