Jodha ran to her hojra after seeing her Shehnshah covered with the blood of Adham Khan. She became scared from inside.. Her heart wasn't ready to believe that her Shehnshah killed his foster brother,with his own hands.
As she ran inside her hojra,she forcefuly pulled open all her jewelleries and threw them away. Hamida Bano,Ruqaiyyah and Salima Begum ran inside to see Jodha.They were worried for her and for the babies',as well.
''Jalal ko aise khoon se latpat Jodha Begum ke saamne aana nahi chahiye thha. Woh bohut darr gayi hai..'' Salima replied.
''Bajah farma rahi hai aap,Salima Begum. Aanewale baccho pe bura asar parsakta hai.. Ya Khuda.. Jodha Begum ko sehn shakti se nawazo..'' Ruqaiyaah prayed to Allah.
''Ya Parwardigar... Jo hua hai usse toh badla nahi jasakta,par,Jodha ko aur aanewale baccho ka khayal rakhna aur durust rakhna.'' Hamida prayed.
After the burial of Atgah Sahab,Jalal returned back to the palace. The whole palace was mourning of the loss of such a great advisor and a very trusted person of the Mughal Empire. Everyone was giving condolences to Jiji Anga and Aziz Koka. They wanted to leave thew palace,but,it was Aziz's wish to stay here and to fulfil Atgah's last wish: to protect Shehnshah and the Mughal Empire.
Jalal went to meet Jodha after finishing other works. He clarly remembers the incident regarding blood smeared on his face,which made Jodha scared to death.
Jalal enters her hojra to find her sitting infront of her Kanha.He opened his shoes and came inside. He came a little closer to find that Jodha was praying to Kanha for Atgah's soul to be rested in peace and to provide strength to Atgah sahab's family.
''Kanha.. Atgah sahab bohut nek aur saaf dil insaan thhe. Bohut acche aur imaandaar bhi... Unke jaise insaan humne aaj tak nahi dekhe. Shehnshah ko unhone apna beta mana tha. Unke jaane ke baad,Shehnshah bohut akele par chuke hai... Atgah sahab bohut nazdeek thhe Shehnshah se. Atgah Sahab ke aatma ko shanti dena aur unki parivaar ko iss dukh se ubhar uthne ki shakti dena.''
Jodha finished her prayer and got up and saw that Jalal was standing and was listening to all her prayers. Jalal's eyes were swollen and red,full of tears. His head was lowered.
''Jodha Begum,aap humein subha ki baat ko leke muaff kar...''
Jodha immediately put her palm over his mouth and nodded in a No.
''Na,Shehnsha... Na... Aap humse kshama mat mangiye... Subha ke haalat hi bohut dukh dene wale thhe... Hum jaante hai ki aapne Atgah sahab jaise bohut nek dil insaan ko khoya hai... Atgah sahab ke chale jaane se aapko dukh bhi hua aur krodh bhi hua uss Adham Khan pe... Aap jab Adham Khan ko maarke humare samuksh iss tarha se aaye,aapke mukh pe jo rakt laga huya thha,vey dekhke hum bohut darr gaye thhe.. Isiliye,hum wahaan se chale aaye.. Aur,ek karan hai.. Hum aapko aise dukhi nahi dekhsakte thhe,isiliye,chale aaye yahaan... Aur,humein aap pe pura vishwas hai ki aapne jo kiya Mughal Saltanat ki behtari keliye kiya hai. Atgah sahab ke maut ka badla liya aapne aur Mughal Saltanat ke baghi ko saza di hai aapne... Aapne kuch bhi galat nahi kiya hai.. Humein aap pe pura yakeen aur vishwas hai aur sadev rahega.'' Jodha replied.
Jalal smiled a little and hugged Jodha tightly.Jodha also gave him a hug,promising to be with him till eternity.
