Yaadein- I think it was under rated

I recently paid a visit home to transfer all my home videos to dvd discs and I came upon my massive collection of bollywood movies that I got for my 16th birthday ( I had very strange taste ) . Anyway I saw a copy of Yaadeins dvd there and I had 3/4 hours to kill so I watched it and I feel the film gets a bad rap . Yeah it was cheesy , hammy and cliche . The references to coke cola and pass pass ain't help matters either . But once you get past all that stuff you find a nice story about a guy and his daughters . Also a well told love story between 2 youngsters . Hrithik-Kareena had perfect chemistry like Orange soda and BBQ chips . They just gelled so well . ( wish they would do another movie ) An the fact that the both were only a few films old should be taken into consideration too . Ofcourse they would come off as a little amateurish . But they did their best . The music was like really really good . I got all songs on my saavn account 😳 😳 . I have very little love for Jackie Shroff but he pitched in one of his best performances in this film . Has subhash ghai made better movies yes . But has he made more fun movies . No and that's just what this film was like a giant ball of red spaghetti that you could just eat up 😆 😆

Anyway that's what I think . Also even if it failed financially in india it did pretty well in USA and UK so it wasn't a total looser . 😊

It was soo lame

First half is good.


Second half is boring and cringworthy too.

I agree. I enjoyed Yaadien and for once I thought Kareena was good in the film.

The film is watchable. Not horrible, in my opinion. I often see it on tv when it's on.

Its songs are awesome...movie is not that good
