First of all, I am sorry for all of those who will disagree with me ...but I am just sharing my opinion. i think this concept that the directors came up with ...like the same actress playing twin sister role seems very fake. I know it has been done in movies and all. But i personally hate it. I wish Surbhi didnt play Seher. It would have been great if another good looking actress was given a chance. We would also start loving her. Like SURBHI playing three roles in QABOOL Hai in the same season. just so unoriginal ...
ZOYA,SEHER,SANAM ...just too much for her...and it gets boring yaar...we dont want the same face again and again in the same serial...just sick of it...

May be your right even though surbhi's acting skills are good as sanam and seher's characters. Sometimes gets bored with same face

First of all, please don't apologise for sharing your opinion. Forums are there for us to share our opinions and those who cannot take a differing opinion need to go take a hike. 😆

Anyway, on your post, I agree to an extent. I also find the twin concept to be overtly filmy and contrived in a sense. Especially the Bollywood version of it is (both twins feeling each other's pain etc). I think they got Surbhi to play Seher as well so they don't have to worry about handling a new actress and nurture her talent (or lack of talent). It's quite tasking I'm sure, so they got Surbhi who they trust will play the character really well (and she is).

Had another actress played Seher, I would have had no objections with the Rehaan-Seher pairing too. :(

But yeah, I see what you mean. Seeing the same actress portraying 3 different characters can get monotonous.

This is how i feel about Seher or Seher and Rehaan - 🤢 Just hate cv's for choosing Surbhi for this character. It's like they ruined SaHil story and i'm not really excited for any futur track.

I think playing 2 characters in a daily soap simultaneously does not help an actor in getting into the skin of either of the characters.SJ is doing a decent job overall but I think she would have done better if she was playing only one character

It is a tough call for the same actor to play 2 roles at once. How long is she supposed to keep this up? I dont know. It also detracts from SAHIL. But at the end of the day, if they can handle it well, the twin concept is actually interesting. The many confusions that can happen. I think they wanted Raiza to use Seher to get revenge from Tanveer and this is only possible if she looks like Sanam, so they can fool everyone.

But if they had used their creativity, even a fraternal twin could have caused havoc. Especially coz no one could tell they were related to each other. It would also have been easy to sustain the character long term and also gave us a fresh pairing opposite Shehezad.

I wonder how a senior actor like KVB feels about HIS co-star being cast opposite a newcomer on the show as well? So this could be potentially problematic, IF in fact they intend to bring in a Rehan - Seher angle!

But overall SJ is doing a great job. So no complaints! But this whole twin sister drama could be a potential can of worms!

EXACTLY. great post.. i was one of the few who were against this twin concept.. it just takes the realism away.. and becomes way too filmy.. why cant bollywood and tv serials advance to reality.. there is not always identical twins. there is something called fraternal twins 🤔

Agree !
As much as i love Seher i would have preferred some other actress protraying it ! That way i could have fully invested in her storyline as well, and would even want a full fledged romantic angle !! Instead with Surbhi as Seher i'm very cautious and dont exactly want her character to do too much because i feel that would tamper with SaHil ...

As a viewer it gets awkward when i'm crying along with Sanam and than they pan out to Seher goofing off ! I dont know i guess it just dilutes the intensity of that situation ...Reason being is that they both have the same face :/

I mean i highly doubt that the industry is out of other great talented people, to have been casted for Seher's role...

I believe that the only place this show lacks is in its poorly casted parallels i.e RaHaFa. I've noticed that in many other top shows the parallels are just as interesting as the leads and so those shows draw in more viewiers. In this case had Seher been some one else, she could have been the new and better paralell..
