Today's Take - Shattered

undefined

Three shattered souls today ...

Dhruv's dream of having his mother back shattered into pieces ... poor Dhruv. 😭

Rudra helpless as he sees his son so shattered, and his own helplessness to do anything about it. If he could he would gather the sun, moon and stars for Dhruv ... even more, if he could, he would bring Paro back from wherever she has gone ... but he can't.

Myrah shattered ... her dreams of love evaporated and gone up in smoke ... as wispy and insubstantial as the love turned out to be.
Myrah saw true love in Rudra's eyes, but it wasn't for her, it was for Paro. Her love was a mirage ... it had never been. And she was helpless ... she could not fall out of love as easily as she fell in. Poor Myrah. 😭

I hope again this is leading to Myrah being Paro ... or Rudra guiding her to love with Rohit. Currently I'm not very well disposed towards Rudra, 😛 so I wouldn't mind if Myrah found her true love with Rohit, and let Rudra live with his memories all his life. The way he is, it seems impossible that he could ever look at Myrah without seeing Paro's reflection in her, leave alone love her for herself ... a situation that would be most unfair to Myrah.

I felt bad for Rudra, but today I wept for Dhruv, whose childish dreams of having a mother were shattered ... and for Myrah, who saw her first love evaporate into smoke ... a love that never was.
Sanaya, as always, is her best in emotional scenes ... she makes you feel every bit of her pain ... Myrah was shattered today. 😭

The episode started with Rudra's tirade against Myrah, while the poor girl listens shocked ... he never saw her, he never kissed her ... it was only Paro. And how dare she force her way into their lives ... he hates her.

Poor Myrah ... her castle of dreams collapsing around her as Rudra goes on and on about how he hates her ... and her realisation that he never saw her at all ... it was only Paro he saw in her.

Today I found Rudra VERY unreasonable, the way he was shouting at Myrah ... yes, it was wrong of her to dress up like Paro ... but he isn't exactly blameless in the whole matter. He never told her the truth about Paro ... the way he behaved with her, any girl could be forgiven for thinking he was leading her on, that he was interested in her ... how was poor Myrah to dream that she resembled Paro, and that Rudra was only seeing Paro, and not her at all?

And if he had told her the first day, she would never have come to the house at all.

Rudra ended his tirade in typical unreasonable Rudra style ... he hates Myrah.

For what?! For falling in love with him? For presuming he was also in love with her, despite his telling her he loved Paro and only Paro? Or does he hate her just because she has the temerity to look like Paro?

I thought Rudra had grown, matured ... but he's back to the same old Rudra. Unreasonable, angry to a fault, and losing his head completely when he's angry. And using anger as defense against his own unresolved emotions.

Liked the Myrah Maithili scenes ... glad that Maithili is back to being nice to Myrah ... and that she realised it was not completely Myrah's fault. Maithili did tell Rudra to tell Myrah the truth right at the start, but he refused. That one wrong decision started this entire chain of events. As Myrah told Maithili ... if she had known about the resemblance between her and Paro, she would never have come to the haveli.

And she takes the only correct decision in this situation ... she decides to leave. Leave the haveli, leave the country. The reason she came, no longer exists anyway ... she has called her wedding off.

Poor Dhruv ... felt so sorry for the little boy today ... he was as shattered as Myrah. He had lost, he told Rudra ... he had lost the game, Myrah was not Mummy, nor was she sent by Mummy. Poor Dhruv was heartbroken.
And so was Rudra, as he realised how shattered his boy was ... the father-son scene was very touching. Rudra was trying to do what was best for his son, but he failed. If Paro had been there, she would have told Rudra to tell Myrah the truth ... Paro was always brutally honest and straightforward.
But Rudra decided to hide the truth from Myrah ... and started the chain of events ... and now it has snowballed into something he can't control ... his son's love for Myrah.

Maithili does try to tell Rudra that it's not Myrah's fault completely ... she sees the entire picture far more clearly than Rudra does.

KCM and Sumer are only worried about their money, and how to get Myrah back ... KCM is still thinking about a Rudra-Myrah union ... doesn't seem very likely as of now.

Rudra goes running after Myrah ... rude and harsh as ever, doesn't bother to tell her why he wants her to come back ... just yanks her out of the car. Rudra could get away with such behaviour with Paro ... but not with Myrah ... she's not ready to put up with his rudeness without a fight.
If he thinks Myrah is to blame for all their troubles, then why get her back to the house? Will he rush to get her back every time Dhruv falls sick? How about when she goes back to the US? 😕

Mohini is right ... Dhruv is not the only reason he brought Myrah back. But history repeats itself ... the last person to realise or acknowledge this will be Rudra.

But she forgets her anger with Rudra, the moment she sees Dhruv ... and gets busy taking care of him. And even ticks Rudra off for fighting with her, instead of calling the doctor ... Rudra helpless as he sees Dhruv calling for Myrah.

Did not like that Myrah accepted the entire blame for Dhruv being sick. They both share the blame ... and so does Maithili, as she also encouraged Dhruv into the game of 'is Myrah mummy, or is she not?'

Myrah's little tension about needles was sweet ... the doctor mistakes Myrah for Dhruv's mother and Rudra's wife ... Rudra promptly corrects him ... she's not.
Myrah settles Dhruv, promises to come back soon ... and goes out of the room.

She sits on the stairs to compose herself ... Maithili, back to being sweet jija, joins her ... and Myrah confesses her helplessness ... she fell in love, she can't fall out just like that ... even though she knows that Rudra will never love her.

Poor Myrah ... I really felt so bad for her today. She was thoughtless, she was careless, but she was also honest and straightforward. Rudra, on the other hand, was not.

Rudra is wrong, she is not at fault here. He is - with his one lie ... or rather, his omission of the truth.

And judging from the precap ... Myrah will never allow Rudra to mistake her for Paro again.

Hi Diya- Thank you so much for giving such deep insights to each and every scene. It makes us understand the character and situation better.😛
Hi Shweths- Your collages brighten up my mood no matter how the episode was.😛

Today's episode as heart breaking from Myrah's and Dhruv's point of view.

Heart- breaking moment
- Rudra tells Myrah that Paro couldn't have sent Myrah because she just has Paro's face, not her heart. Her face resembles Paro but she doesn't have that innate goodness that Paro had. She will not be able to equal Paro in 100 lives. Rudra spoke what he felt but Myrah and Dhruv got devastated hearing this.

Another bitter truth-
Myrah knows now that Rudra just got attracted to her for her face and Rudra does the formality of completing the sentence. How could she think that Rudra could even love her? He tells her to wake up from the dream world and wake up. She is just a nightmare for Rudra and Dhruv and they want to forget her. He just hates her, sirf nafrat.

Moment of Devastation- Myrah is devastated and she runs to her room and Dhruv is devastated on the other end.

Moment of Regret- Rudra admits to Maithili that he should have listened to her and told her about Paro. Maithili tried to warn Myrah too and she has a good heart and she wants Rudra to have a new beginning but not like this.
Yes, you should have told Myrah about Paro because now Myrah is hurt and Dhruv is burnt.

Moment of self-admittance
- Rudra admits that he always found Paro when he saw Myrah and Maithili was gracious enough to admit that Myrah fell for this act and it is not her fault. Thanks Maithili for saying this.😊

Heart- Shattering moment
- Myrah is thinking and saying that Rudra didn't even look at you and he was kissing his wife, he was trying to look for his wife. Sad but true.😕

Moment of Apology- Myrah is gracious enough to say sorry and can't understand how she fell in love. She says that Rudra has a reason to hate her and is justified. If she would have known then she wouldn't have entered the house. Maithili is gracious at her end that it is she and devar ji at fault. They should have told her and of course Maithili's hug must have been like a blessing to Myrah. Maithili supported Paro also when she had her spirits down.😊

Father-son moment
- Dhruv is crying and he tells Rudra that she is not mom or mom hasn't sent her. How heart breaking was the fact when he said that he lost the game and they won and he tells Rudra that he heard the whole conversation.😭 Mom has left him and loved how Rudra made him sleep on top and lay down. The situation is out of control of Rudra's hand now.

Voice of Reason
- Myrah tells Sumer that if she is leaving the country what is the need of a bodyguard? 😊

Myrah was teary eyed but she managed to bring in a smile on her face and say good bye to Maithili, Sumer and Shatabdi. Sanny's expressions were bang on at this point.😊

Moment of Desperation- Rudra realizes that Myrah is gone and is on his phatphatiya to stop her. It was nice to see him back on phatphatiya and stop in front of the car just a couple of inches away.😊 Rudra pulls Myrah along that she has to go home but of course she refuses.

Standing up moment-
Myrah tells him that she can't go home with him and he can't force her and that is final.👏 Well, Rudra Bana is ready to pick her up and take her home and tells that it is something serious and Myrah obliges. Rudra Bana offers his shoulders to her but she refuses saying that she can balance on his bike.

The moment of concern- Myrah is very very worried after seeing Dhruv's condition and she tries to assure him that she is with him.😊

Ultimatum of the day-
Rudra orders Myrah to stay here till Dhruv is alright and she asks Rudra not to yell and he blames Myrah for dressing up as Paro and how he heard their conversation and got shocked and sick after listening to it. His heart broke and his expectations broke, the hope that would never have arisen had she not entered into their lives forcefully.

Affected Myrah moment- Myrah is affected by Rudra's words and says that if it is her fault then she will stay here till Dhruv gets OK. That was a very nice gesture on her part.👏

KCM's brain is on fire because she says that even though Rudra despised Myrah he went and got her back without telling anyone which means that there is something going on between them. She also mocks Sumer for thinking about small gains whereas she is talking of long term profit.

Freaking out moment- Dhruv is like Myrah and he doesn't like needles but Rudra wants the test done now and the doctor refers to Dhruv as her son and Rudra as her hubby which makes the situation worse.😕

Moment of Refusal-
Rudra makes it clear that Dhruv is not her son and he is not her husband.

Moment of Reassurance- Myrah reassures Dhruv that she is here and nothing will happen to him and I loved how he asked for a Bholebaba wala promise and she accepted his promise.😊

Helpless moment
- Myrah regrets about that night and tells Maithili that Rudra can never be hers but she is helpless because she has just seen true love in Rudra's eyes but it is not for her. It is for his wife

Random thoughts- Could Dhruv's and Myrah's blood group be the same? If yes, then can she be Paro?
Was Maithili right today that they should have told Myrah about Paro in the first place?

After watching today's episode, only one word comes to my mind and that is "Hurt"

H- Honesty(Rudra says that Myrah can never equal Paro for her innate goodness)
U- Uncontestable (How could she think that Rudra could even love her)
R-Rejection(Dhruv and Myrah get devastated by Rudra's rejection)
T- Truth(Myrah told Maithili that Rudra can never be hers because he loves Paro)

Brilliant acting by Ashish and Sanny and the child artists.👏

Awesome take as always Diya and beautiful collages as always Shewta!

Today episode was so painful, I fell bad for all of them, they're all so helpless at the moment and poor Dhruv is shattered & heartbroken 😭 The guy had too much expectations of Myrah being his Mom and his high expectations only lead to heartbreak 💔 Poor guy 😭

The father/Son moment was so emotional, I just wish Paro would magically appeared that moment and wipe there pain away 😭 I haven't rooted for Myrah being Paro like I'm today for Dhruv and Rudra sake. Can CVS just turn Myrah into Paro please! Especially for Dhruv the poor boy badly want his mother back, why is destiny so cruel on him? #Suchislife I guess!

Myrah left with dignity and want to forget everything. I wish he would have just let her go! I fell bad for her... She doesn't deserve to be brought back only to hear Rudra harsh words thrown at her again, telling her she can never be Paro etc.. What will happened when Myrah leave forever? You wouldn't be needing her when Dhruv fell sick everytime.

I find it rude the way Rudra just get off the bike and yank her out of the car. I don't like that type of behavior at all by him.

If they're not going the Myrah = Paro way... I want Myrah finding her true love with Rohit because Rohit/Myrah deserves each-other more than Myrah-Rudra does. They been friends for awhile and Dosti and change into love and Myrah could realized it's Rohit who she loved all along and never was Rudra.

Rudra/Myrah will only hurt each other and give each other pain. They don't deserve each other because no way Rudra can look at Myrah without thinking of Paro and remembering the woman he will love all his life. Myrah deserve much better than to be treated as a second finder.

Rudra can go on and live his life with Paro memories or they could have Rudra died either from saving Myrah or from heart-attack and Mithali having Custody of Dhruv if they're not planing to take the Myrah=Paro way.

Myrah will remember Rudra as the man who show her the dept of love & made her find her true love. I want Rudra to be the one to Rudra guide Myrah showing her the right path & I want Myrah to respect Rudra and admire him for the man he is. His love for his son, his love & faithfulness towards his wife Paro, that he didn't even let a lookalike replace her in his heart!

That wouldn't be a bad ending at all to be honest.

Diya, Nice post as always! Excellent collages Shweta!
And Shweta thanks for your PMs, somedays I just don't feel like writing...(Paro ki yaad satati hai)
Today, My heart went out to Myra, poor girl nobody tells her nothing and then everything shatters in front of her...she doesn't deserve this!
I really need to vent about Rudra.
...does this man ever learn from his past, Watching him actually is wearing me out these days. Dhruv is the only reason I feel a little bit for Rudra. But honestly a grown up man needs to get a hold of himself atleast for his child's sake. He seems as lost as his son. Mythili and Rudra are wrong here, to have hid the truth from Myra and in the process giving false hopes to the child. Rudra is wrong for leading myra on with physical closeness.how is she supposed to know that he is imagining Paro.
For this relationship to materialize both father and son have to accept Myra for herself and not as Paro or as someone sent by Paro. The child can be let off the hook, but not the father.
Oh ghosh...what a mess (read Rudra) has Myra got herself into😆
If I were Myra I wouldn't touch him with a 10 feet pole. Only Paro can handle him.
I also seriously do not mind Myra-Rohit ending, with Rudra living in paro's memories.(if M is not P)

The intensity, the acting, the scene execution everything is top notch.
And UK numbers of the top 3 Colors shows is a slap on the face for the channel.
Why is this show ending?

Res!

Pacca bholebaba-wala promise, I would keep my reply sweet and short!😊

Before I leave, this is what I read first, when the construction of the thread was on and seem to relate to it. My life, everyday, every minute of it. # SuchisLife 😳

Superb Swetha Di 👏, love it!

Diyu Sa...lovely post as always and Swetha...lovely pieces of art darling...God bless you ladies always.

Out of the entire episode...what got me was the Rudra-Dhruv scene. I admit even Myrah's pain was heart breaking but maybe coz I cannot and probably will not ever connect or agree to Rudra-Myrah alliance...I was not so emotional over Myrah's heartbreak as much as I was for Dhruv's heart break and for him solely...I really want Myrah to be Paro as she being the real mom will be the completeness to both Rudra and Dhruv.
I truly hope the blood draw today leads on somewhere to that effect.

Ashish was brilliant portraying a helpless father. I loved how he pulled Dhruv so close to him. Such a profound moment it was.
