Who is laughing the last laugh?

Will someone please help me out here? What is going on with this serial? Have they completely lost it (creatives))? or is this on purpose?

So my basic question to all is - who is laughing the last laugh?

Let me explain some -

Sandeep Sikand or Nivedita Basu? Sandeep started, Nivedita will end it. Things were well when we had SS at the head, things have been continuously spirally downward since then (I give her credit for some ups however). In the beginning it was a love story, now I dont know what it is😕 drama? comedy? horror? SS left in KS's haydays, should he be happy the other CD could not sustain it. Or Should NB be laughing since she so successfully butchered SS's lovely creation?

BT or Zee?- neither want to break of the contract. They are both willingly churning out ridiculous stuff day in and day out. I mean is this the quality product that Zee gives with its other serials SP, Maayka, Betiyaan, Dulhan? And is this the same production house who created epics like Kyonki,Kasuati, Kahani, Koshish? I mean how hard is it to give your audience some quality drama if that is your specialization.

Makers or viewers? - Makers since they are giving us rubbish and we are taking it willingly? Or viewers who find comedy in this non sense and hence are laughing instead of being upset at out inteligence being insulted everyday?

Jai or AD? Do I even need to go into this and the rest below?

I am just not sure. I personally feel KS had hit a roadblock and the best way to come out of this is to solve the existsing problems (Sahil's murder case. whatever is left of AD, RRR triangle, JB confrontation) and then call it an end. I mean are we waiting for the TRPs to also reach rock bottom, coz whatever you may claim, I dont think this story or serial is rocking anymore. It may be rocking, but in the other sense of the word.

Rivs, as of today and Friday I seriously think KS is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Other than Jigz there's nothing worth watching anymore. JB is a very distant memory, the revenge track has been reduced to childish school pranks, AD's been revealed as a redundant villain desperate to hold onto his fictonal Durga and all of the rest are simply irritating. Amorality rules the roost. Every day between 9-9:30IST on Zee, this is the very powerful message we, the viewers, the homely women, Ekta's masses--this is what we are told over and over again.

Just don't understand why this deliberate sabatoge ---just take it off the air if you want to end it stop the grossness and stupidty!!!
Leave us with the fond memories we had of why we fell in love and got addicted cause with this idiotic stuff they are ruining that too!!!

hi rivs seems to have missed a lot today chalo good in one way....u cannot even call it a sitcom anymore ....one thing that i concluded from all these is that the misconception i was carrying for so long that i am a part of the mass that watch it has been removed coz no way i fantasize this man who is not even a shadow of the jai walia and idolizing ekta's heroines i rather turn a non believer

somali immorality has become kasam se ...sleeping with ur sis in law due to blackmail,coveting another man's wife,are there no good in the society anymore

i have totally given up thank god am busy with my work..it is an insult to me kasam se

As for the immorality...yes I hate JW inaction today...I mean yes I bashed AD for this ridiculous form of blackmail...but what man gives in to this...ur wife (the one you claim to love) lives under the same roof as you...still??? and talk about it with others...I can see u telling Adi as he is ur friend and all...but dadi and stuff...

Hi Rivya,
I totally agree with both you and Somali and do feel that they should've ended the serial a long time ago before it turned into pulp. I love RK, PD, AS, and AK's acting but the fact remains that KS itself has reduced to garbage. The problem is, there are still viewers for every show. Like some found today's episode to be funny and worthwhile, while others found it beneath their sense of humor. Personally I prefer subtle things in life and resent crude humor, but for refined shows to prevail, refined audience needs to be created, until then the creatives won't be compelled to give in to the wishes of the mass. Despite all the complaints and anger, how many viewers actually stopped watching KS? If somehow the audience collectively could do a serious damage to the TRPs, their wishes would've been fulfilled for Ekta Kapoor's own interest. We have been too kind to KS and did nothing to help improve the quality of the show. Writing petitions has fallen to deaf ears cause we never could really boycott the show and continued on with our loyalty. So, the real question to ponder is, can we part with KS to teach the creatives a lesson so that they can get their acts together?
