K-Jo announced the release date last night (First week of December, if I'm not wrong). She re-tweeted that and said that she was involved in that project.

AIB was paid by Alia/K-Jo's PR claim is far fetched. But it's true their intension was to promote Alia. Why else would Dharma director, Shakun Batra direct an AIB project, music director duo Vishal-Shekhar make spoof song for it, and two suck-ups Arjun-Pari act in it? The production value was also higher than the regular AIB products.

Both parties got benefited from the video. AIB got more exposure, Alia needed something to stay in the news, the video helped her.

Obviously there were a lot of connections and stuff involved in the project...that's why they've been so mad that people are commenting on the ulterior motive 😆 Otherwise they would focus on the positives (which is the video's gone viral and was liked). But their timelines are filled with anger at people thinking they're sellouts.

Its pretty obvious they are sellouts. This isnt the first time a celebrity is doing a video like this. I remember Anurag Kashyap had done one for Qtipya which was a hilarious one. People liked it. I would have really appreciated Alia if she would like Anurag done something along with the AIB guys only out of her comfort zone. THAT would have been actually making fun of herself or laughing at herself.

But here the WHOLE Dharma machinery was in place from KJo himself to his chamchas like Parineeti/Arjun to his employees like Shakun/VS.
