The episode starts with Gumaan giving more money to Arti the nurse to get her job done. The latter accepts despite being afraid. Saras is taking her mom back home and thanks the doctor for everything. Gumaan who is looking from afar promises to teach Saras the lesson of his life for putting her in jail.
At the Desai Haveli, everybody is missing Avinash who has gone to hostel. Dugbaa is like - God knows who will come back here as one is gone now. Kumud tells her about Saraswati being alive. Dugbaa is shocked but happy and thanks God for this miracle. Danny and Kusum are happy for Kabir and Saras. Kumud tells the vfamily that Saras is bringing Saraswati home soon.
Everybody is happy. But Kabir though happy doesn't know how Saraswati will react when she learns about him because she believes Kabir is dead. Dugbaa reassures him. A mom and her child are bounded by love and blood, she says.
Saraswati is home with her Chandra. Everybody is shocked seeing her mental state. Kabir and Danny cry, choked with emotions. Remembering the nurse's words, Kumud goes to hide as she doesn't want to stress Saraswati. Dugbaa cries tears of joy and hugs her friend.
Everybody keeps talking, thanking God but Saraswati does not react. She fails to recognize them which makes everybody sad especially Kabir who goes to her to have her blessings. Saraswati is only talking to her Chandra, that is her doll. Everybody is stunned to see Saraswati's reaction and mental state. Finally Saras asks Kumud to come to meet Maa but Saraswati goes hysterical. Kumud is the one responsible for ruining her family and taking her son away, she claims, leaving the family members shell shocked.
