Mardani and Rani's performance not only been appreciated allover by everyone, but also the film has recovered its total cost just within first 3 days of its release, and will be a forsure success at the end of this week.
Do you think Mardani's success will bring Rani back in top 10 rat race that once she was a part of ?

Probably not, but I sure as hell wish it does. As I've said time and over again, the generation has moved on to other actresses.

Rani may be praised and awarded for the next few months, but then the hype will die down as other movies make their way to the audience.

Right now, I'm just happy with the overall results of all the hard work she has put into Mardaani. I had to hear a lot if shit from people prior to the release.

I think she will continue to do women oriented movies. Top 10 and all is for hero dependant leading ladies. Hence Vidya is considered in a seperate league.

As much as I loved Mardaani, I don't think it makes Rani a contender again. I'm fine with it. I think she had a good career. Now it would be a good opportunity to make meaningful films like Mardaani.

No. I don't think first of all she is in that phase of her career where being part of rat race is in the cards. Plus, the hard truth is she is married to a king or rather queen maker. She will rather be a part of the process of making a queen than participate in the race for the throne 😉 . She will probably also start a family.

I hope she uses her influence in green lighting small films and women oriented films. I also do hope she keeps acting though. She is a phenomenal actress and I for one would choose her the 100 crore BO wooden princesses.

Hmm depends. Like CPR said, everyone is going gaga over the young generation and senior actresses aren't quite in anymore. I voted yes just because her acting and her talent are saving her butt BIG time. So directors like Pradeep could offer her roles where a good performance is a must.

Vidya rocked Bollywood with two huge films in a row. And Mardaani surprised us all. So you never know, na..

She said she's gonna do another film after Mardaani. If the rumours are true, she might be opposite SRK in "Fan". I guess it's either that or it's the role as a female gangsta, Haseena something.. So that means that babies are probably not happening soon. If she chooses good scripts and roles like Mardaani, then yes. If she chooses scripts like Aiyya, then nooo way.

I'll be honest with you I love preity aish kajol more than her but rani is probably back in the race. She can do both commercial movies and critically acclaimed movies, she fabulous actress, she's 36 ( not that old ), she have YRF by her side. Hell yes she back in the race,

She will most probably do both women oriented movies and commercial movies. Probably she's doing a movie opposite srk too which is great. She might also do movies opposite salman and aamir

Very rightly said i think rani mukherjee had her moments of glory during black and Saathiyaa days now its all about choosing the right scripts and performing well ,i think Rani is an exceptional actress and if given the right role can really outshine ,i still cannot get over the bombay talkies segment where she performed so well during that break down scene 👏 and now with Mardaani doing well i think she can sustain herself

Not exactly in rat race but Rani can keep doing good movies and make them work decently at BO. She doesn't need rankings anymore. Only further respect by doing better work.

Today's senior actresses are in a much better position compared to yesteryear ones who were relegated to mummy roles even in their late 20s (except Hema and Rekha).
