Today's Take - Myrah Has Amnesia 😉
undefined

Myrah Has Amnesia ... not the drug induced one, a previously existing one. She has completely forgotten that she's engaged to be married in the next few days.

And she's in love with the idea of love ... or rather, with the idea of a brooding, romantic angry man (can't call him young 😉) with a past ... and that she is drawing him out of his terrible past with the strength of her love. She's even hearing very unmelodious bells (that was GH's idea of humor after all ... should have known 🤢), violins and guitars, and the sound of her own heartbeat.

She has a rude awakening coming to her ... I feel sorry for her. A girl as yet untouched by love ... by her own admission, she doesn't know what it is, has never felt it, and doesn't even believe in it all that much. And now she sees a man, fierce, passionate, protective ... a man who has a deep hidden sorrow, that makes him even more attractive, a man, who despite his initial aversion to her, is brave, noble, gentlemanly ... a man all the best romantic novels ... and quite a few TV serials 😉 ... are made of.
And it seems to her that she, young, bubbly chirpy Myrah, has managed to break that tough crusty exterior, and is reaching that man's heart ... just like it happens in the movies.😳

She kissed him ... she vaguely remembers that. He kissed her ... she vaguely remembers that too. Of everything she has forgotten of what happened during that drug-induced haze, she remembers two crucial points ... and they seem to spell it out clearly - or as clearly as Myrah can think, with her limited understanding of love.
She's in love with Rudra. And maybe ... just possibly ... he's also in love with her.

Myrah's speed of falling in love was about the same as Paro's ... with far less reason. He rescued me, he's a good guy, ergo ... I love him!
But then, Paro was a more mature girl, despite being almost illiterate and rural ... Myrah, educated and urban, is far more immature.

Like I said, she has a rude awakening coming to her ... heartbreak before she has even tasted the sweetness of true love.
But that will be the path to her growth.

But why did she say 'Major Saab'? And why did she reach up on her toes to kiss him, exactly the way Paro used to do? Was it old, suppressed memories struggling to the surface during the drugged phase?

Jaanne ke liye dekhte rahiye ... Rangrasiya, har raat, 9.30 baje ... not for aath saal, though. 😉

All the beautiful collages by ultimaterudra (Shwetha) ... thanks, Shwetha, and welcome back! 😃

Rudra's Confusion

Maithili is right to be worried ...

Rudra is living in the past. A past that has somehow become all bound up with the present ... in the shape of a girl who looks like Paro, smiles like Paro ... but doesn't talk like Paro, doesn't act like Paro ... or does she?

Myrah has the excuse of an injection ... but Rudra was stone cold sober and in his senses. So what makes him reach out to Myrah, and even more ... to kiss her?

Was it the whispered "Major saab"? That only Paro ever called him ... only Paro and no one else. Or the way Myrah reached up on tiptoe to kiss him ... exactly the way Paro used to do? The love in her eyes, on her face, the same ... she sounds the same ... his Paro is standing in front of him, smiling at him, loving him ... and he allows himself to drown in that love all over again.

But he's recalled to the present by a very disapproving Maithili ... and Rudra comes crashing back to reality. Myrah is not Paro ... and what he is doing is wrong ... kissing a strange girl, a guest, a girl who is to be married to someone else in a few days time ... a girl in whom he sees not the girl herself, but only his lost wife. This will lead to heartbreak ... for himself and for Dhruv.

Maithili is right ... Rudra knows she is. His own guilty conscience pricks him ...

But is he still seeing only Paro in Myrah? Or is he beginning to see Myrah herself? His giving into the kiss was all for Paro ... his flashbacks of the kiss were all Myrah.

Maybe he knows that. Or maybe he doesn't want to remember that.

So Maithili's reprimand works ... he needs to stay away from Myrah. Of course he doesn't owe her any explanation for kissing her one night, and then being so cold and distant the next day ... his own confusion is so overpowering, that he doesn't even stop to think how his very erratic behaviour would confuse Myrah. All he knows is, she is not his Paro ... it was Paro he was kissing, it was Paro he was loving ... not Myrah.

Problem is, Myrah still doesn't know that.

Maithili ... the voice of reason

Maithili is the voice of reason in this mess.

On one side - A man living in the past, caught up in his past ... seeing his past in a mirage, that's bound to shatter soon.
On the other side - A girl living only for the present, unmindful of the meaning or depth of relationships ... a girl who can go from forgetting her past, including her own loveless engagement ... into blithely 'falling in love' with a man in three days ...

Maithili can see the heartbreak coming to both these people ... to Myrah, when she realises that Rudra doesn't love her at all, he's only in love with her face ... and if Myrah lets herself fall in love with Rudra, she will be competing with a ghost. A lost cause, if ever there was one.

And the danger to Rudra ... and even more, Dhruv ... Myrah will get married and leave ... and break their hearts all over again. Maithili can see the danger for Rudra ... always an emotional man, he is getting dangerously attracted to Myrah ... but to her face, not to the person she is ... he only sees Paro in her ... and tomorrow, this new 'Paro' will leave him and go away.

And even if she doesn't ... what kind of relationship can happen between Myrah and Rudra? Paro will always be there between them ... Paro's ghost ... a ghost which can't ever be banished, because Myrah's face is a constant reminder of her presence.

Rudra can never forget Paro as long as Myrah is around. He can never love Myrah as long as Paro is around. And as long as Myrah has the same face, Paro will always be around.

Maithili is right to want to keep them apart. But her methods are wrong. Telling Myrah she's engaged, is not going to be enough ... Myrah can blithely break the engagement because she's 'in love.' Telling Myrah that Rudra is married is not enough ... he's not married any more ... and after seven years, if Maithili felt it was all right for him to move on, then she can't suddenly remember that he's married, and hence can't get married again. Besides, he's not married ... he's a widower. Maithili forgot that.

Somebody needs to tell Myrah the truth about Paro ... before she gets in too deep over her head.

res...

-----Unreserved-----

Sorry everyone, I will not be writing much today.. My baby is not well... She will hopefully be fine soon with some TLC😊... So, No time for a huge post...

Diya, really sorry for taking the spot on first page...😔.. Just so I can feel a little better for not wasting the spot completely.. Here is a small take from me..

Rudra is tangled in his web of his past... And Myrah is tangled in the thoughts of future.. Both confused and lost... Both unsure and yet sure of themselves and their feelings. What a crappy situation life has put them both in 🤔... I felt really sorry for Myrah today.. The girl is totally and completely lost.. And have to say, she fell in love with Rudra at jet speed... Beating Paro at that... Her, he loves me/ he loves me not, act was heart breaking... Because only we know how badly she is going to get the jolt of reality and from the precap, very soon. Man! She even forgot that she is engaged....

Maithili catching them in their act was very awkward... Rudra must have definitely felt terrible for what he did... And he must.. That was very unfair towards Myrah .. While Myrah is dreaming on and drawing conclusions about the kiss, only he knows who exactly he kissed at that moment.. That was painful to watch.. Like I said earlier, it was a very messy situation these two are in💔. Oh God! I want MY PARO back... Pleaseee... CV's, I will keep repeating it again and again till it is etched in your minds... "Rudra IS Paro's"... Only Paro's.

Maithili said it right, he is getting attracted to Myrah even though he is not ready to accept it... Is he getting attracted to her familiar face or her 'Major Saab' or the Magic she talked about or because his heart feels Paro in Myrah??? We are yet to know.. 😛Maithili talking to Myrah showed just how important Rudra and Dhruv mean to her... She misses her sister and she feels it is her responsibility to take care of them both and to keep them safe from any more hurt... That point is very clear from the way she spoke to Rudra too.. All she wants is for him to start life new and live it... But with Myrah, it will only lead to more heart ache for him... That is her only concern.. It is not that she doesn't like Myrah... It is that she cares for him and Dhruv more❤️.. That was really sweet of her...

Again I just love the directness RR has... No beating around the bush, no going on and on incoherently... Maithili was straight to the point with Myrah... She is dreaming of something that is not possible (becauase she is engaged)... And by her actions she might unknowingly hurt Rudra and Dhruv... Which they don't deserve as they have been through a lot... Now... How many serials show such a conversation with such honesty and straightforwardness... I just love RR...

Tomorrow is going to be an emotional episode... I can feel it.. Hope it is not heart breaking too..

Hi Diya- Thanks for opening the thread every day and giving a detailed analysis of each and every scene. 😊
Hi Shweths- Thanks for the collages everyday. It shows your hard work and reflects your talent. 😛

Today's episode was conflicting on some parts and here are some of my thoughts.
😊

Intoxicating moment- Rudra does his best to say to Myrah that magic is in her head and she challenges him that what is inside his head and in his heart. And Rudra remembers Paro and loses his composure and keeps on saying no.😊

Testing moment
- Myrah is asking Rudra if anything happens to him when she comes closer. And Myrah is ready to touch him and Rudra reminisces Paro coming closer. Does he feel anything when she touches him😊

Heart beating moment of the day
-Myrah saying "Itna Bhi Kya Darna Major Saab?" And who said Major Saab. It was only Paro. And then Myrah gets up at the same vertical angle and kisses Rudra and he has flashes of Paro doing the same with the RR music in the back ground. I didn't know if I was supposed to be happy or unhappy at this point. If Myrah is Paro, then it really makes me happy.😛 If it is otherwise, then it is Bheja fry.

Reciprocation moment- Rudra gets drawn to Myrah thinking that it is Paro and kisses her back on the cheek. And Maithili interrupts him and is shocked to say the least and is embarrassed and the spell is broken.

Dizzy moment-
Rudra doesn't have time to answer Maithili because Myrah falls in his arms and Rudra puts her on bed the same way like he did to Paro.😛

Moment of Self-defense
- Rudra does defend himself in front of Maithili but she makes a point. She did try to make him understand what is right and wrong but then who is she to interfere in the middle? She wants Rudra to start a new life and she has no problems with Myrah. She even tells that Rudra can't lie properly. She said that he used to like Paro but never accepted and even today he is not ready to accept that he is longing for Myrah.

Bitter truth moment-
Maithili gives Rudra the reality check that Myrah is a guest and she will get married and go away. We all know that she looks like Parvathi and Dhruv has taken it for granted that she has been sent by Parvathi. What will happen to him and Dhruv when she leaves? Maithili can see what Rudra and Myrah cannot see.😊

Helpless moment
- I loved how Rudra went and held Dhruv who gives him strength. He does think about it and he is very much affected. Today, he didn't talk back to Maithili which means he was guilty as charged.😊

Confused moment
- Myrah is confused at Rudra's ignoring her and so one thing is proven true. And then she remembers kissing him and she is excited about that. Somebody please tell her that he kissed thinking of her as Paro.😛

Discovery of the day
- Today's
Myrah's heart is ringing along with the bells and she can hear violins and music and then comes the declaration that she is in love with Rudra.

Parallel moment- Myrah hates milk and who else hated milk? Our Paro Bai Sa of course.
She drinks the milk thinking that it will make Rudra happy.
Myrah is heading for a heart break because she is going to know that Rudra thinks of her as Paro.😊

Cold shoulder moment-
Maithili is not in a mood to entertain Myrah but she doesn't give it up easily. Shatabdi is ready to share secrets of the house and Myrah wants to know what Rudra likes. Maithili's looks were so killing at this point. Myrah is happy that Dhruv, Rudra and she are potato lovers. Maithili puts her down that she cannot cook that kind of potato. Maithili is down to business today.😛

Uplifting moment
- Rudra refused tea but asked Myrah if she took her medicines which really uplifted her.

Rebuttal moment
- Myrah wants to talk about love but Rudra refuses but saves her from crashing against the wall which makes her happy.😊

Down to business moment-
Maithili gives Myrah the warning not to win Rudra because he is not hers. I never thought that she would say jacket but Maithili cleared the doubt and asked Myrah if something is going on between her and Rudra. She wants to hear it from Myrah's mouth. Maithili is a very keen observer because she says that things have changed ever since they have come back.

Straight forward moment
- Maithili cares for Myrah because she calls her Jeeja and reminds her of Paro. Maithili warns her from getting involved with Rudra because he is married and has a 7 year old. Myrah reminds her that she wants him to move on and brought a proposal.😊

Timely reminder-
Maithili does remind her that she is here to plan a wedding and she is engaged. She makes Myrah feel guilty that she is engaged. Her next question was the sixer, what happens when she goes back even though she has managed to bring happiness on their face. She has come at a juncture where Major is getting used to living with Paro's memories.😊

Question of the day-
Myrah thinks that "Why did Rudra call her Paro? "No wonders Rudra was feeling awkward and weird. Maithili asks her to forget whatever happened between them or would have happened.😊

Genuine moment
- Maithili tells Myrah that she cares genuinely for Rudra and Dhruv and that is why tells her that one decision of hers is going to destroy three lives.

I have these random thoughts in my mind today.

Is Rudra falling in love with Myrah or thinking of her as Paro and falling for her?😊

Does Myrah deserve to know the truth? Yes, because she lives in a bubble world.😊

What did Maithili drink today in the morning?😊

Precap - It is a killer and Myrah is in for a big shock tomorrow.

After watching today's epsidoe, only one word comes to my mind and that is "Reality" from Maithili's point of view versus Rudra and Myrah.

R- Realized (Maithili tells Rudra that he has fallen for Myrah)
E- Empowering (Maithili tells Rudra that Myrah will get married and go away)
A- Accurate (Maithili tells Rudra that she looks like Parvathi )
L- Lethal (What will happen to Rudra and Dhruv when she goes back?)
I- Important (Rudra brushes Myrah aside when she tries to talk about love)
T- Totally tubular(Maithili warns Myrah from getting involved with Rudra)
Y-Yern (She said that Myrah's decision is going to affect 3 lives, Rudra, Dhruv &hers)

Missed Paro Bai Sa tons today specially when Rudra started remembering her. Thanks for taking us back into memory lane.😊
