no it is not ...

i read the plot when it started it is based on some novel the servant comes back as rich guy to take revenge on the girl and her family who mistreats him

i didnot remember the novel name but we(me and my friends) thought ekta is going to mess the beautiful novel in the name of MATH so i still remember the plot 😆

Yeah it's supposed to be based on Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. It's a classic.

yes guys it is based on Wuthering Heights novel only but read the below article where it is clearly hinting about leap (some what ) 😆 Ekta added her sort of masala for it, she knows how to grab TRPs for sure...
A reliable source tells us that Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi will have a storyline similar to that of the very popular Emily Bronte novel, Wuthering Heights wherein the man Heathcliff who would live the life of a servant to begin with, will vanish soon after the girl he would love would decide to marry another guy. Later, Heathcliff will return as the rich and much-educated guy who would want to ruin the family of the girl.

Now, moving to Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, our source states that the transformation of the male lead from being poor to rich is surely on the cards. Even when the audition for the male lead was on, the team was looking for an actor who would fit the bill, playing both the poor and rich characters. Actors like Kinshuk Mahajan, Mohit Sehgal were also short-listed for the role. But they were not selected as the actors though could look good in the rich man's role, did not fit the bill to play the driver's son.

Now, what remains to be seen is whether Ekta would follow the exact tale of Wuthering Heights, or deviate from the plot to add her own creative masala bit. And if at all she sticks to the plot, then it will only mean that Shakti Arora will have to portray a negative character later on, when he gets back to avenge the girl he loved.

Well, only time will tell whether we are going to witness yet another obsessive lover's tale!!

This is reminding me of all the articles about RR being based on Othello...and people getting scared if the show would end tragically...
well the show IS ending tragically...though off screen.😆

WH...had the hero get rich by doing many illegal and underhanded things. He also loved the heroine to death and wanted revenge from her brother...the revenge he took from the heroine was emotional rather than financial ruin. And heroine knew she loved him and he loved her...there was no doubt in both their minds about that...MATH ki heroine is still in lalaland of perv chirag...If EK is adapting WH ...She has ruined it before it has properly begun...as expected.
