[DHARMARAJA YUDHISHTHIR, URMILA]

[NOTE: I am assuming myself as a Dwapara Yuga woman. I lived in Dwarika Nagari & worshipped Dwarikadhish Krishna every day. Once I prayed to Him for getting a righteous husband. He replied that a son of Dharma Devataa is currently living on earth & he will be my perfect match. On my request Krishna narrated the story of Hastinapur royal family. After listening that I started to daydream about Yudhishthir as my husband. Finally, due to Krishna's request, Yudhishthir married me when he just became the Indraprashtha King.]

~Round 3: Relationship Questions~

1) What will you do if Kunti asks them to divide you equally?

  • Mata Kunti can never do so knowingly & intentionally! Being a woman she herself knows very well that sharing a woman among five men is adharma. Jiji Panchali's case was an unknowingly committed mistake. But I don't think that she will repeat the same mistake again in my case!

But if the mistake is mistakenly repeated by her, then I will just turn to my Aarya for a proper solution. My Aarya is not only the final decision maker of the family but also Dharma personified. He never leaves Dharma so his decision can never be wrong or harmful to anybody. Even my mother-in-law Kunti depends on him only for all serious decisions of family. So if such a situation arises, I will just look at my lord & will wait to know what his mind says in this regard. I will say him politely, "Aarya! I have come to live the whole life with you, & I have full faith on you! I have heard that you never lie & your mind never becomes sided with adharma. Now my future depends on your decision. Only one thing I would like to remind you. Please think over it! Jiji Panchali's case was different. She had Lord Shiva's boon & a past birth connection so polyandry was Dharma for her. But is the same thing applicable for me as well? If no, then please do not ask me to do any adharma! As a woman of your kingdom I want justice from you, Dharmaraja!" After this dose he will never be able to make adharmik decision. His mind is so clear that whenever he hears the word Dharma' he at once becomes the image of it! That word is sufficient to make him conscious regarding practical Dharma over the rulebook one. Whatever his mind thinks then it will be Dharma only as well as good for all. I will obey whatever he asks me to do.

2) How will you react if Panchali refuses to let you into the palace?

  • I will wear dresses of a maid servant & go to her chamber. I will keep my eyes fixed at her feet & will say very politely with folded hands, "Maharani prasanna ho! Accept salutations from this daasi. May I get a chance to serve you?" 😳

Draupadi will angrily say, "No! I have enough daasis already so don't need another one! You may leave now!" 😡

Then I will say with a more polite voice, "But Maharani, it's my irresistible desire to dedicate myself at your service! 😳 Well, if you don't allow it then please let me be the daasi of your daasis! I will be happy enough if I get a chance to serve you indirectly through them!" 😳

Draupadi will surprisingly ask, "Despite of being the wife of Indraprashtha King why do you want to be daasi of my daasis? Do you not want to sit on the throne as queen?" 😲

I will reply humbly, "No Maharani! It's only your right to sit on the throne as the queen! You are the queen of Maharaj's heart, & will remain so forever! None can snatch that place from you!"

This reply will reduce her anger. Then she will more surprisingly ask, "Then why did you marry Maharaj in the first place? Please don't say that you never had a dream in your mind to become a queen!"

I will be silent for few minutes, thinking 😕. Oh, how can I say her that I love the King, not the throne? What will I do if she becomes even more furious to know this?

I will say, "Maharani! I want to get only a single glance of Maharaj everyday! Your Maharaj will remain yours only; I have not come here to take him away from you! Never think me as your rival; I have nothing to compete with you! Neither I am beautiful like you, nor do I have so many virtues & talents like you! I don't want to take your position at all! Only allow me to be your daasi! Allow me to stay at one small corner of this palace! On every morning I will go to the royal court to visit Maharaj from a long distance, & that will be more than enough for me! Kindly provide only this for me, I want nothing else!" After saying this I will fall at her feet & weep. 😭

Draupadi will be melted then. After all, she is a Krishna devotee & dharmik lady having enough compassion in her heart. She will hold me up & sigh, "My sister, you have already defeated me! So selfless your love is! Even I could never love Maharaj so much! Certainly you will become the better Dharmapatni of Dharmaraja! Even I need to learn something from you!"

I will look up then, with a voice of gratitude I will start, "Maharani..." 😳

Draupadi will interrupt, "No, not Maharani! Tell me Jiji only! You are a true devotee of my Govinda, so you are like my sister! May Govinda bless you! May your husband remain always free from all danger!"

3) What will you do if your Pati brings home a Patni after you?

  • After hearing the news, I will be very upset. I will lose my interest in everything around me, & will weep silently sitting alone in my room. My Aarya will get this news & will come to meet me. I will not look at him. He will say, "Devi", I will turn my face from him, "Order me, Maharaj!"

Though he will not be able to see my teary eyes, my teary voice will never fail to draw his attention! His sensitive ears will definitely catch my pain! Then he will sit beside me & ask very tenderly, "Devi, are you crying? Am I the reason for your tears?" 😔

I will reply, "No, Aarya, it's not you! My own destiny is the only reason for my tears! 😭 You are the most virtuous among men! I am nothing compared to you! Certainly I don't deserve you! I failed to become a perfect soul mate of you! I could not satisfy you! These are nothing except my own fault! So if you think that I'm not enough for you then how can I blame you for the same?" 😭

He will sigh (I will not miss that sound), "Don't say so, please! You are my perfect partner! You are a dharmik woman & a truly devoted wife. But I have hurt you so severely! Rather I don't deserve you!"

I will understand from his voice that he looks pained then. I will not utter a single word but I will realize that his soft heart can't take the burden of this guilt feeling!

After some silence from both sides, he will say, "There is no doubt that I am your guilty. I will accept any kind of punishment from you! But Devi, that innocent woman has done nothing to offend you! Where will she go if you do not accept her? What will happen to her then? You are very kind & compassionate to everybody! Can you see a woman in such a helpless condition? Punish me whatever you want, but please do not leave your Dharma, please do not be so cruel to an innocent lady!"

Then it will be really impossible for me to continue crying. Is it possible to be angry with this man? He is not even thinking of himself; rather he is worried about the new bride's future! No, I am not so narrow-minded that his concern for new bride will make me jealous. I know him very well. This is his basic nature to feel compassionate to every creature! He weeps for everybody's pain! So innocent & kind he is! I know that he will never seek forgiveness from me. But if I can't forgive him then how can I be his ideal wife? After all, he is the incarnation of forgiveness! He has the ability to forgive even his enemies; do I not have the least ability to forgive my beloved lord? 😊

I will then turn to him with a smile on my lips & tears in my eyes. He will look a bit relived. I will say, "I have no more anger, Aarya! I will happily accept her! Initially I became afraid to lose your love, but no! I have no more fear! You are the ocean of love & kindness! ❤️ It was my stupidity to think that the ocean will be dried up for me! None becomes deprived from your love, not even the greatest adharmis! So how can I be deprived from that? I know, you will love me forever ❤️"

He will smile sweetly 😳 & affectionately wipe out my tears. With that smile & that gentle touch I will forget all sorrow at once!

4) WIll you teach your sons to die for Jyesht Mata?

  • Oh certainly I will teach them to do so! From very early childhood I will teach them to love & respect their Jyesht Mata even more than me! I will tell them that Jyesht Mata is even greater than their Mata, & it's their Dharma to love her. As they are sons of Dharmaraja, both I & my Aarya will make Dharma their flesh & blood! They will learn that it's their duty to fight for her, even unto death! Their father will be the greatest example for them in this regard. I will tell them, "Look at your Pitashri! He admires his Jyesht Pita & Jyesht Mata as well as all his elders so much that he can even easily give up his life just to obey their orders! This is the true Dharma to respect elders, absorb it, sons! Be prepared even to die for your Jyesht Mata if required. That's your Putra Dharma! Always remember, those who die for Dharma become immortal! Your body will be destroyed but Soul will never die! People will take your names with a great honor, saying, They were really the sons of Dharmaraja!' Sons! Make your parents proud of you! My blessings will always be there with you!"

5) What would you do to make yourself more attractive to your Pati (hint: think closely about the word "Attractive" and think closely about your potential Pati-to-be ... it can mean a lot of things)

  • Attractive? This means I have to do something special to modify myself which will attract my pati, right? Now, my pati is Dharmaraja, the Dharma personified on earth! He loves only one thing towards which he always gets naturally attracted, & that is Dharma only! Despite of being a King he is almost like a Sannyasi, a true unattached (anaasakta) Vairaagi, he is the Yogaarura person who remains indifferent in both prosperity & poverty. He has no kamanaa, no desire, and no taste in normal pleasures of material life. But yes, he has full taste in Dharma! He will prefer a righteous wife over a beautiful & romantic one. So what else should I do to attract him except trying to become a complete righteous lady by heart & Soul?

Well, let me explain myself first! Let me see if I have anything already to attract him!

To tell the truth, I am similar to him in many cases. Like my pati, Dharma & Spirituality is already my first & foremost love! I never lie, not even in my thoughts, nor do I perform any false act! I never do anything harmful to anybody. I always try to make everybody pleased with my behavior. I try at my best to conquer all my senses like lust, anger, greed etc. I love to remain pure, & purity is nothing but making the mind clean by removing all stains from it,as my pati says always. My pati believes that compassion is the greatest Dharma ever; I have exactly the same opinion. There is nothing greater than the universal welfare, nothing superior to the effort to love all & make all happy! Oh yes! One more thing! Like him, I am a Krishna devotee as well!

But no! I am not perfect for him so far! I love his most favorite Kshamaa Dharma from the core but I myself lack this forgiveness very much due to my quick anger! Also sometimes I lose patience unlike him. I have to imbibe Akrodham, Dhriti & Kshamaa too to become his soul mate, & that is the place of my modification. I will always try to increase my patience & tolerance to be more attractive to him. Also I am sure that his pure company will be enough to make me pure.

I love doing Pujas. I always had a dream in my mind to get a husband who will accompany me regularly in my daily Puja rituals! Who else can fulfill this dream other than my Dharmaraja! I will collect flowers on every morning & will join him in the morning Puja.

He will be my Guru in Spiritual life! I have to learn several things from him, like meditation, as I can never meditate! I will always listen to his Dharma lessons with full concentration & will also try to join the discussions. I have already a keen interest in Spiritual discussions so I need not to pretend here to show him that I am interested. My full attention will definitely make him pleased as he might never get such a good listener like me! Like his other possible listeners I will never argue with him. Who am I to argue about Dharma knowledge with Dharma Putra himself? Thus he will realize that I am giving him the full importance.

I will never become a living showpiece of the royal palace, lazy & busy in doing my make-up! Rather I will be a true co-worker of my husband! I will be his helping hand always! I know my responsibilities as a queen. It's true that I will not be able to help him in political matters. I don't understand politics & need not to do so as there is Jiji Panchali well versed in it. But I want to take another field to help him at my best, & that is my very favorite work, universal welfare! I will dedicate myself for our prajas. As a queen I am like their mother! I know my pati loves his prajas like his children & they too, adore him like their father. I will also maintain this loving relationship with all prajas. I will never touch my food until everybody of the palace finish their meal- everybody including the slaves, maids, guards, gate keepers etc. I know none of these persons is out of my Aarya's affection & well wishes. Also he loves equally all the street beggars, all the common people including poor, old, handicapped & even the prostitutes are always blessed with his wish & prayer, May they get whatever they want, may their hearts be full with pleasure.' This is my Aarya! So in order to please him I must take care of all common people like a mother! If I come to know about any problem in their lives I will at once inform him the same so that he can take some immediate steps.

Last but not the least; I will always try to understand his feelings! He is a peace loving person & his basic nature does not suit the common wrath of other kshatriyas. For this almost everybody fails to understand his heart! I will listen to his thoughts calmly, & will try to console him if he gets hurt by others. My love will wash all wounds of his heart!

~Round 4: Specific Pati(s) Questions~

Ya esa jaambunadashuddha gaurah, prachanda ghonas tanur aayataaksah
etam kurushresthatamam vadanti, Yudhisthiram Dharmasutam Patim Me ❤️

[Yudhistira]: Define Dharma in your own words

  • Well, first of all, I offer one Pranipaat to my Lord Krishna & another one to my svadharmaartha vinischayajna' (having a correct knowledge of Dharma) Pati-cum Guru before starting my Dharma lecture! 😃

Dharma is the ultimate way which leads to God! Dharma is the way to get Moksha, the salvation. That's why God loves Dharma the most & lives in it, "Yato Dharmah Tato Krishnah" (wherever is Dharma, Krishna lives there). For me, Dharma is to be good & to do good! Dharma is nothing but humanity! Purity of mind is its base; truth, patience, selflessness & forgiveness are the four pillars; & unconditional love for every creature is its roof. Thus the whole structure emerges a fragrance of universal welfare. Dharma comes from compassion, makes a man pure & finally does well to everybody who comes across him. It is said that "Aanrishangshyang Paro Dharma", compassion is the highest Dharma! Lord Krishna also says that He loves them who practice compassion.

God Himself has set the proper guidance for us to walk in the path of Dharma. With His blessings, sages from ancient era used to narrate that guidance in different scriptures, like this one from Manu Smriti--------

Dhriti Kshamaa Damosteyam Shaucham Indriya Nigraha

Dhirvidya Satyamakrodho Dashakam Dharma Lakshanam

If we carefully think about each of these ten symptoms of Dharma then we will get an idea that all of them are directly or indirectly leading towards kindness only, which is regarded as the ultimate Dharma ever! The key of kindness is to make a practice of visualizing God within every human! That is the Adwaita theory explained in Isha Upanishada. This practice not only protects us from all kind of low thoughts like hatred, anger etc but also helps in our Spiritual progress. In Isha Upanishada, there is a very beautiful line---

"Yastu Sarvaani Bhutaani Aatmani Eva Anupashyati

Sarvabhuteshu Cha Aatmaanang Tato Na Bijugupsate."

[He who sees everything within himself, & also sees himself within everything, he never hates anything.]

This is also the key to become a true Yogi.

It is believed that even before creation of man, God created Dharma first to set the laws of humanity so that men can know what they have to do to be ideal human beings. This Dharma is the direct representative of God. Ancient India imagined this representative as a Demigod & worshipped him to get the sacred virtues as his blessings. God has given His power of attorney to Dharma to rule this universe as well as to carry all creatures. The very word Dharma' comes from the Sanskrit root dhri' which is nothing but dhaaran', means to support' or uphold. So it's the duty of Dharma to carry & maintain this universe. If Dharma does not carry then it will fall, it will be completely destroyed! So Dharma always tries to forgive our day-to-day sins, committed knowingly or unknowingly, at his best! If we cheat or hurt any person, Dharma himself takes the victim's pain as a loving father & forgives the guilty. Thus Dharma always keeps the balance of the universe. It is not so easy for him to become angry with small reasons. If Dharma gets angry then the equilibrium will be lost & his anger will burn everything! When Dharma leaves forgiveness & takes weapon then none can protect the world!

But yes, if adharma is not stopped even after infinite forgiveness then Dharma must have to apply his Nyaya Danda to punish the adharmis! When all limits are crossed then only punishment becomes the necessary Dharma to save mankind from extreme sufferings in hands of evil. Merciful God protects His devotees but if needed then He punishes evil to protect them as well. Dharma, as His representative, does the same thing!

[Yudhistira]: How will you react to Yudhi staking your co-wife Panchaali at a dice game?

  • Initially I will be very angry with him! How dare he treat his wife as a commodity? 😡 Is this his Dharma to sell women at stake? I will decide to give him a good dose after he comes in front of me! I will be preparing my fiery lecture for him like, "I love Dharma so wanted to get you as my lord, but now I see that you don't actually deserve the honorable title of Dharmaraja! Where has your kindness gone? 😡"

But when he will come to meet me before leaving for exile, I will be shocked to see his face! There is so much anguish, so much guilt on his beautiful face! When he will talk to me I will feel it is hurting him to take even each breath! 😭 Life has already become a punishment for him! 😭 I thought to express my anger but then my anger will be reduced. I will feel very sorry to see his pitiful condition! Yes, as his wife it's my duty to make him realize what was his mistake but what else can I tell him while he is already aware of his wrong deed & repenting from the core from it? My eyes will get wet. 😭 I will say within my mind, "Oh Aarya! What a great mistake have you done out of innocence! 😭 I know that you certainly had some good intentions behind this dice game as you wanted to stop war at any cost from the very day on which you heard the prediction of Vyasdev. But Aarya! Nobody will understand exactly why did you accept the game invitation, nobody will think how helpless you were while staking your children-like brothers & the queen of your heart! Nobody will feel your pain! 😭" But I will not utter a single word to console him. He needs to face some rigidity from me as well, to start his prayashchitta.

After they left for exile, I will go to Dwarika to meet Krishna. I will ask Him, "Lord! Will this penance of 13 years make my husband purified again?"

Krishna will say, "Yes, he will get my forgiveness & blessings. I will support his side in war. But he will have to face hurting comments from common people always for this!"

I will ask, "I did not get, Lord! If you forgive him then why will people criticize him for this? 😕"

Krishna will reply, "That will be their fault only to ignore his repent & prayashchitta. Rather they should learn from his life that man may commit mistake but only good man can perform a prayashchitta to get rid of that sin. But most of the people of next Yuga will only hate him forever for this single fault of only one day! They will completely forget his Dharma, his honesty, his compassion for mankind- but will never forget this dice game! All of his endless virtues will be just ignored & only this one mistake of one day will be the only tool of his judgment!"

I will be seriously frightened to know this! I will say, "Judgment? Who are they to judge my Dharmaraja? Those who not even have the ability to understand his Dharma have no right to criticize him as well!"

Krishna will smile, "Calm down, queen! He deserves some criticism too! That will teach people the harmful effects of gambling as well as prevent them from doing such a sin. Do you not think that he performed a sin?"

I will say, "Of course he did! As a woman I can never support this act! But is it also fair to forget all other good sides of his nature? Is there no good lesson to learn from him? Moreover, I am afraid to think that women may treat him as the worst pati of Dwapara Yuga. No woman will pray to get a husband like him!"

Krishna will laugh, "Yes, you are almost right! In fact such a situation will arise in Kaliyuga when a competition will be arranged for searching his best Kaliyugi patni in which this staking thing will be the most important question for all competitors! 😆"

Then I will pray, "Then please allow me to take a re-incarnation in Kaliyuga. I want to get a chance to try at my best to convince people how wrongly they are misunderstanding my husband! That one incident should never draw the ultimate conclusion to his overall noble character! I will try to teach them to see him through my eyes, only which may help them realize how good he is in general! Oh Lord Govinda! Please listen to my prayers! Give me enough strength to fight for my Aarya'a honor!"

Krishna will bless me, "OK, as you wish! 😊"

[Yudhistira]: How will you react to Yudhi staking YOU at a dice game?

  • When? Before or after the day of staking Jiji Panchali?

Well, if it's before that dice game of Hastinapur court, then it must happen in our very own Indraprashtha only, right? So it will be nothing but a casual home game either between Pandavas or between our children & their parents. Even I may join the game sometimes as well 😃. Sometimes I may not play but just sit with them to cheer up the players of both sides 😃; after all, both sides are my very own, aren't they 😊? During this playful mood even if my lord stakes me then where is the reason for me to react negatively? There are some clear differences between Pandavas & sons of Dhritarashtra. Being the wife of Dharmaraja I am at the position of mother in this family. My brothers-in law respect me as well as they do with Mata Kunti! So there is no chance for a scene of my humiliation in their hands even if my Aarya loses me to any of his brothers! Similarly if any of our children wins me as a stake, or Jiji Panchali wins me, what difference does this create for me? Whatever happens, victory or defeat, all will lead us to a pure & innocent fun only! This happy game of happy family can never end with a tragic scene! So in this case, I will just sit relaxed & enjoy every bit of the game cheerfully! 😃

If it's after that fatal dice game, then first of all, I can't believe that my Aarya will do the same mistake again! His extreme guilt feeling will never allow him to do so! Men make mistakes but a wise person never makes the same mistake twice! My lord is a true wise person! Moreover, during exile, he learned Akshahridaya & became unconquerable in dice game. 😉 So even if he plays dice again, he will never face a similar situation when he will have nothing to stake except me! 😃

[Dhanaanjaya Arjuna: Frappie]
~Round 3: Relationship Questions~

1) What will you do if Kunti asks them to divide you equally?

Dear Mata;
You have gone through several trails and tribulations in your life you would better understand my position.Firstly I cannot be a devoted wife to All your other sons..It would be complete injustice to the sons of demigods who deserve utmost love affection and care from their wives.I am only devoted to Arjuna and I wouldn't share your sons even in the worst of my nightmares and would rather choose to remain a free bird. But let me remind you that a woman's curse out of frustration works best I hope you wouldn't want yourself to be cursed by me.Lastly ,I would like to say one of the best decision in your life was to invoke Lord Indra for a child.I respect you as a woman with utmost intelligence.

2) How will you react if Panchali refuses to let you into the palace?
Dear jiji,
All I would like to say to you is insecurity and love are two emotions which are least synonymous.I know you love Aarya Arjuna the most there should be no insecurity in that case..As insecurity sublimes all the love. What would you get by not allowing me to enter this palace??? that doesnt change the fact that I am his wife .I have always heard that you are the most intelligent woman in entire Aaryawrath SO I always wanted to be your friend please accept me as your friend and respect Aarya Arjuna's opinion of bringing me to the palace.Since respect is the highest form of love..

3) What will you do if your Pati brings home a Patni after you?
I would say her that I respect Arjuna's opinion and wouldnt want any rivalry with her.Would accept her as my friend and would say her you will need a companion as mostly Aarya Arjuna is a wanderer . Also I would say I can be her gossip mate...Yet if she denies
I would learn to
KEEP Calm
and
love Arjuna

4) WIll you teach your sons to die for Jyesht Mata?
I would love to give my son the best of values and want him to be a bold courageous warrior just like his father. I would rather teach him to fight valiantly than die.I am strictly against the suicidal nature..But in case he is fighting for her honor I would definitely support him and if he dies though difficult I would accept the fact that in a war warriors die..
Also I would ask him to take consent of his father regarding any decision pertaining to wars ..

5) What would you do to make yourself more attractive to your Pati (hint: think closely about the word "Attractive" and think closely about your potential Pati-to-be ... it can mean a lot of things)
I would like to be more calm and composed as aarya is one...I am very short tempered so I would learn to be more calm .I would like to be a person whom aarya shares everything at least most of the issues .
I believe he is a person who prefers matured discussion than outrageous one in the split of anger. I would try my best to break the nutshell of his reserved nature...And would definitely not dance or sing before the gaandharwa trained by chitrasena and get my relation into trouble..😆😆 .I am passionate enough to entice my pati but calmness and composure is what I would like to include in my personality.

PHew this quite a job will edit round 4 later🤔
