Kate, this was your very first edit? Wow. I remember when we were wondering what we could add to Indi's birthday thread, you sent in these edits and I was astonished, especially this one. I never even knew such things could be created. I literally was staring with wonder when you sent me this one below.

And it didn't stop there. Birthday after birthday, you kept giving surprises. And then there were other occassions too. Thanks Kate for wanting to do something, having a crave to learn new things just to make our days happy and give us something beautiful. Or, maybe we should be ultimately thanking Cecilia. 😃

Thank you everyone for liking the poem and especially the edit. Have been playing with the options on picasa of late. Found the pencil sketch one too.

Indu, you loved both the edits I made, ie one for Javeria and then this pencil sketch. If you observe, both are done from the same capture. It was at that time itself that I had decided to use the pencil sketch one for BS birthday.

All my edits are still essentially completed using powerpoint, now with the aid of Picasa and sometimes Paint and the pixlr app on phone. Hmm, wonder why all start with the letter 'P'. 😆

But should really start trying the online version of pixlr. 😊

that poetry slam was my desperate bid to get something going quickly for the team sobtians fan page on fb... for sir ji's bday.

i was pretty apprehensive about participation.

well, i needn't have worried.

lovely poems sitting there now...

such love from wherever words came in.

now i am in a quandary... i really want to put all the poems up somewhere... wondering what's a good way to make sure these get looked at. of course, i can post one a day on fb and compile them on an if post... let's see.

Indi,

That poetry slam was a hit right from the time you started it. It just needed a little push, a reason, encouragement and a platform, all of which you provided. And look how many hidden poets came out in the open. All those poems are remarkably well written and enjoyed by many. Yes, it would be a good idea to put them all in one place. Maybe, create a special page for it, connecting to the TS page.

Thanks, D! 🤗 I don't know if you remember but I was absent a lot from our thread in those days. I started self studying on Photoshop in July and the pencil sketch was the result. Then I created the oil painting one. The idea was to combined them.

So this is my first blending. 😳 Thank you for all your support and encouragement D, Indi, Faiqa, my twin, all my dis and Blasters, It has been such a wonderful ride... 🤗
