Amazing post! I agree with everything you said and loved ur interpretation! Today's interaction was definitely a turning point. I always felt this season, there was a slight role reversal. Aahil is not as angry, judgmental nor does he think as highly of himself as the previous 4Lions heroes yet he is just as lovable as them. He has more faults but then he has not grown up around people who want the best for him. He didn't have a Daadima, Ammi or Di (characters from previous shows) in his life! In fact, sometimes it shocks me that Aahil and Rehan grew up with Khala n Khalu and yet turned out the way they did lol Sanam is more like the heroes and hence her confusion over her feelings is greater. In my opinion, she is one heroine who takes no nonsense, is practical and gives as good as she gets! 👏 I feel Aahil "knows" (well actually believes because we know its not true) that he is not good enough for Sanam and that Rehan is a who a girl like Sanam, who wants commitment and a happy life would want as her life partner. Despite what his Ammi says, Aahil does not believe that Sanam is greedy but its something he uses to try to hate her and protect his heart from being hurt by her rejection. Hence, its not that difficult for him to misunderstand things and get upset every time he sees them together. Its like "why him and not me... I know I'm not perfect like him but still why not me!" He's in love and it is difficult to be around her knowing she will not love him back. Thats why he thinks Rehan is what makes her happiness incomplete when it is in fact Dilshad. Of course, I'm not just supporting Aahil because he also said many hurtful things to Sanam as well, but I dont pity her either because she can handle things very well and is not weak. I love her for that! In fact, I'm neutral but I love both of them and when they fight, the intensity and junoon hits another level all together! SaHil rock! But I truly felt for Aahil today! The "I know" was more heart wrenching than ever because it was out of defeat and immense hurt. He gave in because her words shocked and hurt him to a great extent, once again crushing the hope that someone he loves would return the feeling. The fact that not just the fake nikah but being with him suffocates her, hurt him a lot because despite the fact that he loves her, he gave her a lot of space. He didn't force her nor try to manipulate and win her love. He cant imagine making her feel so terrible, just by his presence. 😭 That fact that she would leave without a second glance hurt him because he wants her to stay for the same reasons that he wants the nikah to work. He wants her love in return. But when he realize that things have not changed between them at all, at least from her side, he felt defeated in a way. He doesn't realize that he is now such an important part of her life that after her parents, Dilshad and Haya, he is the next most important person in her life. In fact she doesn't realize it yet! Rehan is just a friend and doesn't affect her how Aahil does. The second Aahil hurts her, the tears flow. Even with Asad, I always felt he cried more than Zoya or felt a greater pain during their arguments because somehow it hurt but he didn't know why. Same with Sanam. Further Asad couldn't understand his own feelings nor Zoya's and same with Sanam. But Aahil's words hurt because on the inside she has accepted Aahil as her husband and the accusation crushed her hopes that he has started to trust and respect her. Thats why when she came in, she had a very wife-like and comfortable tone. There was no hesitation like there usually is. The last conversation which went really well, comforted and assured her as well as the fact that he stood up for her. But then the unexpected hits her. It was truly painful because she was shocked. She thought things were getting better but in a moment it was all over. I loved when she grabbed his hand and forced him to face her and then held on to it. But later he pulled his hand away attempting to walk away and she stopped him, not wanting to leave the conversation incomplete. But unfortunately that heated things further lol I loved how they attacked the closet 😆 very natural between couples, if only they could see! He tried to hurt her by returning the gift, which had made him so happy earlier and she did the same! But what she said after I think took everything to a whole different level! Her words shocked him and broke him! I loved KVB's expression at this point!!! The change from anger to shock and pure hurt was so well done and the "I know" was so damn heart wrenching. I feel when Aahil closed his eyes, he was trying to control his emotions but he failed because when he opened his eyes, the tears were much more visible. Her tears fell when he was walking away the first time and his, as you said, glistened in his eyes when he said those final words. I think that shocked her a bit too, that he didn't say this was a nakli nikah nor did he make some usual remark. He left it incomplete and walked away without arguing or trying to win or get in the last word. Aahil walked away because I felt if she had said anything more hurtful (which Sanam is capable of when she is angry) or asked him anything else, he would have lost it or cried in front of her. It was obvious that even the "I know" was difficult for him to say! 🥺 When he walked away, more than hurt, I felt Sanam was a little surprised at his reaction and realized for the first time that she hurt him! That was another progression too because prior to this whenever he was hurt, she didn't realize but this time she did. Your right thats another reason why she wore the outfit he handed back to her before he left. She realized her words pierced deeper than she expected! Except, she didn't know why she felt so hurt. As for the wedding junoon moment, Sanam was shocked and touched when she saw him. I feel in that moment she respects him and is proud of him, especially when he blesses Haya. He has wholeheartedly accepted her family. Also she knows he's a man of his promises and words since he had told her "differences are between them, not their family". She could see he honored his words and kept his promise to Haya despite what happened between them. If the morning fight had not occurred, Sanam would have been elated! I also love when she mouths "shuk-" but he walks away. Every other time she thanked him, she always repeated the "you may hate me" line lol so this time he didn't listen. I am excited to see what happens and how they react next! Thanks for ur awesome post and sorry for such a long response! I didn't comment anywhere else so hence needed to pour out my feelings here lol Loved KV and Surbhi as usual! They lived Aahil and Sanam and made us feel for them! My heart was racing as they were arguing and my own face flushed at watching them fight lol such tension! My mom was like damnnn that was one intense fight lol but their pain was so heart wrenching and the expressions were bang on. When Aahil whispered the words, with tears in his eyes and walked away, I was like Sanam stop him and give him a hug! If not can I do that! He was so adorable! SaHil are amazing and each day I love them more! Also yes, Sanam is starting to love him, of course its something else that she still hasn't realized anything yet lol Monday come soon!!! 😉
