the existing quota system..

It is sad to see how the quota issue has been put on the national agenda by India's political leaders when the country is facing so many other more pressing problems..

The exisiting quota system for admission in higher level education institutions has been introduced for SC/ST and minorites like sindhis and gujaratis.Also,students can apply via sports and cultural quota,which is considered partially fair.

So do you think that the quota system is a fair step in view of those students who are applying via open merit as they too,have to study the same material as the others ???Do you think the quota system should be prevailant where the less deserving get what the others actually deserve..???

i am against the quota system altogether! i dont see any need of it based on current system of classification. kabhi
is our expert in the mansion and am sure he will have something to say :)

i think quota is hampering our progress and making brain drain justifiable :)
