After ages I am here again...First I was planning to add Maan Geet's Anniversary on grand scale.But its like dragging story to much away from real line...Asked many buddies they all are comfortable with this if I skip it...So lets move ahead in story.
Chapter 75
Every one was busy in marriage preparations.Daddi asked Rano to invite Nina (Dev's PA) who was staying in Outhouse due to bad health ...But circumstances became such that Rano got no time to invite her... Dev insisted her to join the grand occasion which she refused as she was not feeling comfortable...Even as doctor said not to give much stress to Nina....Dev also thought not 2 pressurize her much to be in party.
Everything went good...Maan Geet's first Anniversary was not less than grand marriage celebrations...Everyone was much tired so all were in bed as soon as function wrapped up...
Next Day Around 9 in the morning...
KC Downstairs
Geet...even she was present at breakfast table but still dozing...seemed much tired...Also same with Daddi and Rano much tired...
"Geet you came without taking bath ? Still dozing? "..Rano teased..
" Maa I am just dozing just go and check ur son's condition he is snoring...Even my poor baby he was not feeling comfortable so I took him here.." Brushing sleeping baby's hair softly...she regrets...
" Geet why you always remain behind Maan..My poor son always remain busy...Just weekend per he time milta hai...Let him sleep. Today is Sunday.." As always Rano was on Maan's side...
" How ever !!"...(she sighed)..."You and your son do what ever you want...But Maa plz give me breakfast.No one can eat properly in such functions. I m like hungry from ages." Geet made baby face...
" All arrangements went good more than we expected 😳..But this is also true as we planned things on short notice it was too much hectic...Geet betay have your breakfast...and give me my baby... " taking little baby in her lap Daddi said...
" Daddi Maa aap aaram kijiye...we ll take care of Arnav..." Geet she also knew Daddi was also tired...
" I have done with my breakfast...Its already 9 and you know I do breakfast at 8.."and Daddi moved toward living area...
Maan he was in bed still sleeping...After breakfast all ladies gathered in living area discussing the grand function held...
"Rano I found that girl no where..whats her name ?Ya Nina..hadn't you invited her ?" Daddi asked Rano...
" Manji mujhe ek minute nahi milla...that I could go and invite her...Dev invited her but she refused to come why don't know ?" Surprised at Nina's behavior Rano answered...
"Okey let it go...But beta atleast today visit her...She is in outhouse it seems odd if we neglect our guest...I hav too much pain in joints other wise hum challe jaate...and I know If I invite her too come here she will hesitate.." Daddi she really had joint pain and what she was saying that was also rite...
" You are rite Manji...Okey I will visit her today aur invite bhi kar dungi ghar aane ko..." Rano seconds Daddi ...
On the other hand as Dev requested Nina to stay here in outhouse for some more days due to her bad health...She became ready as he was the person due to whom she was leading a normal life now...Otherwise she might have found herself in any mental asylum...
Around 11 Rano decided to visit Nina...She was at home coz as it was off today in KC...Ladies had same opinion that if Rano was going to meet Nina she should take some gifts with her...So Rano took two of unstitched dress materials..
"Manji otherwise I bought one dress for her .Like we gave too all KC staff in our function..Wo aayi nahi function main but aabhi de aati hu and with this I m taking one one dress..She is our son's special guest so I think it is good..aap kya kehti hai...? " showing gifts too Daddi n Geet...Rano asked for opinion...
" Rano Beta this is your department do whatever you want...With much difficulty hum free hue hai in sabhi duties say...Ha beta take some sweets too.." Smilingly Daddi gave her opinion...
"oh ho you ladies aap aise behave kar rahi hai jise us ladki ka rishta pakka karne jaa rahi ho.." Geet teased "How ever do what ever you want I am feeling sleepy.." and she ran upstairs toward her room...
Around 11: 30 Rano was out there to meet Nina in outhouse...She send Nakul back who was with her carrying gifts and sweets she brought..She knocked the door..No response..She again knocked but this time with a slight push door opened itself which was not locked from inside...
Hesitatingly Rano moved in...Even if this is her house but now some one unknown was staying here...She looked around no one was there...
" Nina Ji ...Nina Ji...Are you here..." She called for Nina....After a while some one responded her back.."whose there.." She was Nina...
" Ji its me Dev's Mother..I come here to meet you" Rano introduced self...
" Ji plz two minutes I am in washroom..take a seat main abhi aayi. " Nina was taking bath...
" No problem I m waiting take your time..." Saying this Rano placed gifts on table and took seat on sofa...
After some time Rano heard opening sound of washroom door...So she got up from sofa...Nina came out drying her hair with towel..So Rano was not able to see her face covered half with hair...
" So after so many days finally we r able to meet.." Rano started convo...
Nina who was drying her hair became a statue there...Not a single step ahead by her...rooted to spot...Rano was aware of her mental state so she got scared with her this odd behavior...
" Nina Ji what happened? Are you okey ? " Bit scared Rano said. With much courage she came close to Nina and placed hand over her shoulder.
In a jiffy Nina jerked her hair back...A pin drop silence between both of them..Looking in each others eyes disbelievingly n what they were trying to find out...Rano's condition much worse she had her mouth wide open in surprise...
" How is this possible.? ." Rano mumbled.."How is this possible? Is this true.."she repeated with her over flooded eyes...
" How is that possible.." Nina scrammed.." How is that possible.." at last she came out of her shock...Tears rolled down to her checks and she fell on her knees yelling.." How is this possible I am still alive.."
"Aliya aliya meri bachhi..." Rano also set on floor and took Nina's face in her hands...
" Kon Aliya...kon Aliya...I am not Aliya...there was a girl with same name but years back her family abandoned her ...never looked back for her..." She jerked Rano's hands off...
" Its not true Aliya no body abandoned you...no one...haalat he aise thay...I lost every thing...every thing I had..." She held Nina's hand tightly...
" Fir se jhoot...how you can say you lost every thing...that was me who lost every thing but even in those conditions you saved what ever you can ...snatching every thing from me.." She screamed... putting every bitterness she had out...
" Kya karti main bolo kya karti..ek taraf tut hi aur ek taraf.."Rano said...
"Aur ek taraf ..wo..you made me an option..u made me an option " Nina not let Rano complete...
" Wo...wo kon Aliya...she is your sister.." At last Rano burst at her...
" No I have no one...some times I think that the woman I assume as my mother she really gave birth to me or not..." She taunted...
"Aliya you have full rite to get angry...but think about my position too..." A mother's helplessness was clearly visible what Rano was trying to explain...
" Your position do hell with your position..." But Nina was not ready to listen...
" Just shut up Aliya...just shut up...what u have in you heart..you can say..But u can't question a mother on her love.You are blaming me to do partiality by choosing Geet..How dare you..." Rano yelled...
" You have no right to yell at me..." Nina answered her back...
"I have no right.okey..What about your Papa..when he was fighting for his life...He forced me to opt in between him and the kid I could save ...sacrifice his ownself...I just had Geet at that time...not you ..tumko dhudti Geet ko bhi kho deti after your Papa too..." Rano's emotional outburst at last brought what she had in her heart from ages...
" Mera socho ek Maa ki tarah nahi ...ek bibi ki tarah bhi dekho mujhe..maine to wo khoya jisse meri duniya thi...Your Papa...and Geet what you think she was living a very good life...She was just with me but even she lost every thing...even her voice...I m not the reason behind her life ...it was she who became reason for my life..." Rano fell on the floor...
Nina she had no answer now but some where she got answers for the questions those were not letting her live for a moment form years...A pin drop silent there ...Rano she was sobbing on the floor and Nina she dropped herself on couch...
