Day One: Part I

He glanced at Sanyukta out of the corner of his eye - she was at her usual seat at the front of the room beside Kaustuki and Jiggy, and he was on the opposite side at the back. She didn't turn around to look at him. In fact, she hadn't even tried to speak to hm after they made the bet.

"Okay dream team," Professor Vardhaan announced, looking around the room. "Vidhushi and Parth won this round. Kaustuki and Jignesh, you two will need to work much harder. In fact, Vidhushi and Parth - you two can work much harder too."

Randhir was looking at Sanyukta this whole time, but she was focused on Vardhaan sir, her back still turned to Randhir - she hadn't even glanced at him once and this made him slightly angry.

"Randhir and Sanyukta won their round, but they will have to take part in a rematch," Vardhaan sir said, looking from Sanyukta to Randhir. He noticed that Randhir wasn't paying attention. "Randhir, where is your attention?"

Randhir noticed Sanyukta look at him alarmed. He nearly smirked, but looked up and straightened in his seat instead. At least she was still bothered about him.

"Sorry sir!" he said quickly. "I'm listening."

"As I was saying," Vardhaan sir continued. "I spoke to Maya Raichand, and she says that she would like to get this competition done with as soon as possible."

Randhir smiled victoriously and glanced at Sanyukta out of the corner of his eyes. He noticed her tense up ever so subtly and smirked. She definitely realized that she was not going to have it easy these seven days.

"This one won't be as simple as the last task," Vardhaan sir added. "This was planned for two weeks in advance, but the location we booked the task at is willing to accommodate us now. Randhir and Sanyukta, you two will be coming to Mumbai with me. Today."

Randhir smiled - the first thought that came to his head was freedom, there wouldn't be any guards standing outside the hostels and Sanyukta being the only girl would have her own room. He knew of the effect he had on her, and he was aware that getting close to her was something that she couldn't resist.

"Mumbai sir?" Sanyukta asked, surprised. "On such short notice?"

Randhir knew that she was thinking the same thing that he was - going away from FITE would only mean that their closeness would increase, and that was what she feared.

"Sanyukta what do you need notice for?" Vardhaan sir snapped. "You are excused from all classes and you have not attended them for the last week. Another week of no class will not kill you."

She looked down and Randhir knew that she was biting her tongue - her speaking out was just an impulsive reaction, and being impulsive was one of her dominating qualities.

"Sorry sir," she mumbled.

"The rest of the details will be given there. Both of you pack your belongings and meet me at the entrance in two hours," he said, glancing at Randhir.

Randhir got the feeling that Vardhaan sir knew that something was up, but he shook it off. As long as it didn't come between his plan to win the bet, he didn't care.

Sanyukta stood up quickly and started to walk out of the classroom, but Randhir caught up to her and grabbed her wrist.

She turned around quickly and glared at him, pulling her wrist away from him.

"Don't touch me," she snapped.

"Farzi," Randhir said, holding her wrist again, "You're so cute when you tell me what to do."

He noticed the familiar faint blush creep up on her cheeks as she pulled her wrist away again.

"Stop behaving inappropriately," she snapped, glaring at him.

"Are you two fighting?" Vidhushi asked, catching up to them.

Randhir quickly wrapped his arm around Sanyukta's shoulder and glared at her. He couldn't understand why nobody in this college minded their own business.

"Stay out of it Vidhushi," he snapped. "What I do with my girlfriend, whether I fight with her or kiss her or do anything with her is not your problem."

He could feel Sanyukta's eyes try to burn a hole through him as he said that, but he pulled her closer to him instead.

Vidhushi just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. As soon as she left, Sanyukta struggled to pull herself off of Randhir's grasp, but he kept his arm around her. Leaning in close to her ear, his lips gently brushing over it, he whispered, "Farzi, tonight you won't be able to resist me."

He felt her tense up and her breathing quicken - he loved having this effect on her. Farzi, you don't know what you agreed to, Randhir thought with a smirk as he backed away and went to his room to pack his belongings.

Upon reaching the entrance of FITE, Sanyukta was already there with Vardhaan sir. She didn't look at him - in fact she looked everywhere but at him.

The car ride was spent in silence with Vardhaan sir in the passenger seat beside the driver and Randhir and Sanyukta in the back, Sanyukta avoiding him completely. Randhir took one opportunity to place his hand on her thigh, but she glared daggers at him and he took it off.

Taking out his phone, he texted Sanyukta.

You won't be able to avoid me tonight

He saw her shoulders tense up as soon as she read the text and he smirked. She put her phone away and closed her eyes, leaning against the window, as if she was sleeping. He knew she wasn't going to fall asleep, but he let her be. After all, Vardhaan sir was in the car too.

Once they reached the hotel they were to be staying at, Maya and the LITS boys Dharam and his partner were already waiting for them.

"Here you go, I already picked up your keys," she said, handing three keys to Vardhaan sir.

He looked at the names behind the keys and handed them to Randhir and Sanyukta accordingly.

"There are three tasks and you have six days to complete it. First task will start tomorrow. We will meet here in the morning at 11," Vardhaan sir said. "You will get the details of the task then."

Randhir noticed the two LITS boys staring at them bitterly and Randhir couldn't help but feel a sense of protectiveness towards Sanyukta. They could say anything they wished to him and he didn't mind it, but Sanyukta was a danger zone - if they even tried speaking to her, Randhir knew he might break some rules.

Vardhaan sir and Maya then left and Dharam walked up to them.

"Sorry for our behaviour," he apologized, but Randhir was not convinced. "We didn't know we'd have to see you so soon and we thought we should make this a friendly competition."

Randhir grabbed Sanyukta's wrist who looked up at him startled.

"Alright," he said simply and dragged Sanyukta towards the elevators.

They were both on the 14th floor, beside each other again. She shook his hand off her wrist and glared at him when the elevator door closed behind them.

"Stay away from me," she snapped.

Randhir walked towards her as she backed up into the wall of the elevator. Placing both hands on either side of her head, he leaned towards her. He could hear her heart beating faster and he smirked, knowing that she was very turned on, that she wanted this.

"You know," he muttered, pressing her body back against the wall with his, his lips grazing over her earlobe. "We could forget about this challenge and just be together."

"N - No!" she stammered. "I don't want to be with you."

His lips softly traced her jawline as he brought one hand to her cheek - it was so warm and he knew that she was blushing. His other hand slid behind her waist and he felt her hands on the nape of his neck.

Pulling his face back, he looked into her eyes - he didn't think he could ever get tired of just looking at her, each and everything about her was so beautiful. Glancing down at her lips, he moved towards it and her grip around the back of his neck tightened, indirectly giving him permission.

Just before his lips could touch hers though, the elevator door opened and he moved aside.

"Our floor," he murmured, and then they picked up their bags and walked outside, finding their rooms.

Randhir opened the door to his room and he glanced at Sanyukta.

"Just put your stuff in here," he told her.

She hesitated for a moment.

"Come on Farzi, you know you'll end up in here anyways," he told her, causing her to blush faintly.

Finally, she dragged her stuff to his room and set it down. Closing the door behind him, he glanced up at her and noticed that she was already standing against a wall.

Smirking, he placed his hands on the wall, blocking her escape route. She looked down at his lips and he knew what she was thinking - she wanted to kiss him and Randhir was going to fulfill her desire.

University is starting soon for me so updates won't be as frequent as before (they will still be regular though). Another thing is that I read and like all your comments, but unfortunately due to time constraint and so many comments on both of my fanfictions, I'll have to cut down on replying to them. I'm so sorry. I feel bad that I'm doing this, but I had to let you know.

Omg ! Way to start the story ...

This was definitely worth the staying up !

It is finally back with a bang... Day 1 part 1 and already an almost kiss scene <3

Okay wait wait let me start from the beginning

The classroom scene ...the way he was eyeing Sanyu .. Oh gosh !it was damn sexy..

The good thing is this time we at least know that they have feelings for each other .. So this is going to be all the more tough because they won't be able to resist each other at all... And that is so evident from sanyu's face ..lol.. That was sooo cute.. The way she wanted to avoid him.. But was failing miserably.. On top of that they even have to travel together...

I also loved their bickering in the corridor !!! Lol ..

Still calling her his girlfriend in front of vidushi <3333

Hahaha .. Then the car scene ..lol.. Damn why did vardhan have to be there -_-

So much more could have happened... Lol

I love how he got possessive in front of those stupid LITS boys

And the lift scene <333333 omg

I honestly have a thing for elevator scenes ... They are always a treat to watch and read ..

It was super hot... She can just not resist him

And lastly ... When he says to leave her stuff In his room

I love how he says it..they are so comfortable talking like this that Sanyu even agreed.. I love their current equation ... And the last line .. Her leaning against the wall.. A green signal for Randhir there ... Omg this is sooo perfect to visualise !!!!!

I can just not wait ... You know how to end it and leave us wanting for more

Hey!

I have been a completely hooked reader of your work since the past few weeks.Thought I have not really been able to comment on these little bundles of joy that you call updates! ;)

I completely adore the way you write.Your stories are complete packages with the right amount of drama,mush,agggresiveness and humor.Its a delight to read!

I absolutely love the way you ended the prequel to this one!There was a cliffhanger but nevertheless we know that all is gonna be well in the Sandhir paradise!This one starts with great promise but I see Sanyukta's resolve weakening in front of Randhir's charms already.And its just the first day!

Looking forward to what excitement the next few days hold! ^_^

Yaay! So the story started😃... I loved it😳 [though didn't really expect Sanyu leaving her stuff in Randhir's room! That's too soon... poor girl😆 couldn't resist him😉]

Don't feel bad about not replying to every comment... updating fictions is already hard work, considering the fact that we all have many more stuff to do in "real" 😛... Just keep writing [at a pace you find reasonable]... You are doing a good job😊...
