I think Payal humilition track is important to bring Dev in the picture. He cannot do anything on his own.

May I say something. He doesn't deserve Nitya because Nitya is way too strong headed than he is. She had the guts to file a case against the might Goenkas that too when she was a nobody and liteerally had no one beside her. On the contrary, Dev is a nice and kind hearted but rich guy who has no idea about ground realities. All he can do is write romantic lines and compose songs for her and that never mind how romantic it may sound, is far away from practical living.

His idea about love is absolutely obscure. He is so absorbed in his love that he doesn't realise Nitya is the daughter of a driver who works for the GOenkas. No offense to those who think love is above everything,I wonder if this relation was going to work in first place even if Payal wasn't raped.

Then again he must have known that Nitya met with an accident and is dead but he simply refuses to take the argument. Its like, " maine gana likh liya hai, tum bina sune nahi mar sakti". Instead why not try to figure out the situations that led to her death. Eventually, he would have learnt Nitya is very much alive as Durga. Rather, he is randomly walking to random places to gather evidences. On the top of it he expects people would just give away those confidential reports and significant evidences that has been subdued using political power.

This guy is good to be seen in some saas- bahu sagas where each male member goes to Harvard or Oxford and get an MBA degree to run the family business and thereafter marries a ghar ki laxmi type wife. What is he doing in a thriller show?

No offense guys, I never wanted a goody Goenka in the story. Such characters kill the real essence of the show. Besides, he has raised hopes in the mind of Dr. Thakur that Durga deserves a second chance in life and revenge isn't helping her. Durga too looks confused all the time. Today's dream is the best example.

My request to the makes is put this character to some good use or just fire a few more bullets and finish him completely. If killing him is not possible then just keep him busy writing some romantic poetries instead. jUst keep him away from the rape case.
