A week ago, I happened to see a few episodes of KKB and below storyline came to my mind last night. I decided to share it with you all. These are just random musings of my own not meant to hurt anyone's feelings. It is by no means any earth shattering storyline and has lots of gaps to fill.
However this is just another take on taking the Rockstar character and really exploring it.
Constructive criticism is always welcome otherwise please ignore the post.
A storyline that will fetch 0 TRPs guarenteed-😉
Pragya is a middle class girl. Quite talented at playing guitar. Had sent a sample cd to a music producer which somehow landed with Abhi. He listened to it, bowled over by the music, tries to find who made it, unsuccessful, keeps it with him and listens to it often to get insipration. Pragya of course never heard back from music producer and also did not pursue it further. Only her mother and sister know about her this talent. In the past they had cajoled her to pursue it but she being practical never took it seriously.
Now after this forced marriage with rockstar, one day Pragya wakes up to the same CD. She is speechless as to how Abhi got hold of it. Abhi of course insults her thinking she knows nothing about it, degrades her choice of music (which is only the bhajan that he knows so far). Pragya does not say anything. She lets him make fool of himself while smiling slyly t0 herself.
<In between a lot of brainless incidents of Sis/Wife/Girlfriend can happen>
One day Abhi is trying out a new composition and the notation paper has an error. He tries for hours and in frustration leaves his music stuff lying around in the room and goes out. Pragya walks in the room, sees the notation paper out of curiosity, finds the error and subtly corrects it. Later Abhi comes back deciding to give it one more try. Now the composition sounds really melodious. He is completely baffled as to how this happend. He can't figure it out and gets restless. Pragya lets him be.

One day it so happens that during the concert Abhi goes completely blank. Nothing. He just can't belt out any ridiculous tunes anymore. It is a live concert, people are waiting with bated breath, atmosphere is charged and Abhi is in his vanity van. All his crew is perspiring as to what to do. Abhi can't care less. He refuses to come out on the stage. Pragya happens to be there at that time. She takes an instant decision and calls Purab. Purab tells Abhi's crew that they should buy some time for Abhi somehow.
And so the guitar playing begins. Slowly people get drawned to it, pindrop silence and only the most divine tune after tune is heard. Stage is dark, difficult to figure out the artist but all are spellbound. Someone drags Abhi out and Abhi is thunderstruck to hear those tunes. It is as if someone has applied a soothing balm to his restless soul. It is as if his thirst is quenched. He is rooted to the spot unable to move, just listening to those guitar strings. Suddenly the artist has stopped playing. People start clapping loudly. A thunderous applause. Abhi comes to his senses and rushes to the stage only to find it empy. In desparation he runs amok but unable to find out who was playing. He shouts on everyone but no one is able to tell him, who the artist was. Pragya comes near him slowly, she is all flushed, unable to believe what she just did. She is on an adrenalin rush of her own, still absorbed in the feel of guitar in her hands after almost an eternity. In that moment she has forgotten all her recent troubles.
Abhi's mind is on the music. He wants to find that artist whose music he recognized but is unable. He starts acting like a crazed possessed person, and leaves the concert deaf to the protest of everyone. Pragya silently follows him.
I haven't thought about the story from this point onwards but then it can be Abhi's journey to find that music. Will Pragya take pity on him and introduce Abhi to that artist which he is so desperate to find? Will Abhi forget all about his sister's petty issues and devote his time in producing better quality music? How will Pragya influence him towards acheiving musical nirvana (if you forgive my melodramatic phrase) and finally help him find his life's true goal to produce quality music, and be an overall great artist? Can Abhi teach Pragya to let go of her practical side in order to pursue more of her creative one? Can Abhi and Pragya help each other in their musical journey and become the true soul mates?
