Hi Guys. I'm back with Chapter Two. One Note: When I was going through Chapter One, I realized couples of lines were accidentally deleted. So I'm going start from the last chapter a little bit. Please read from the start and don't skip. I promise it will make more sense now. I'm sorry for my mistake. Please Enjoy.

Karachi, Pakistan...
"Rohail!... Kya howa? kaha kho gaye aap? aapko kitni aawaz di meina," asked Seher with a concerned look. "Haan... woh bas... bas kuch yaad agaya tha," Rohail said fumbling. "Acha sab theek to haina?" Seher asked still concerned. "Haan... Haan.. Sab theek hai," Rohail assured her. "Acha to phir yeh bataya ka hum dono ka left hand ka ring finger pay similar ring kyun hai?" Seher asked curiously. Though he insists everything is fine, Seher was not buying it. It felt like this guy went on a flashback just now or more like fell asleep, Seher thought to herself, when she refered to this thing, she thought looking at the ring.
"Woh kya haina...," Rohail started he thought of an excuse off-hand, "kuch haafto purani baat hai," he said saying as made his lie as he spoke, "hum dono bahar gaye tha. Tumhare yaha aye howe kuch hi din howe tha..." getting a nod of approval from Seher, he continues, "so hum log aek market mein gaye waha pay na bohaut sari rings bech raha tha aek insaan..." Rohail said quick thinking, "aur tumhe to rings bohaut pasand hi hai... as tumne mujhe bataya tha," Rohail says explaining her unasked question. "Tu waha pay yeh dono rings pair mein bikh rahi thi," he says pointing towards their rings, "aur tumhe woh wali ring pasand aye jo tum apni finger pay pehna hoi ho tu meina tumhare lia khareed di," Rohail says quickly finishing the story and takes a breath of relief.
Just then he notice the question in her eyes as she motion towards his ring. "Oh.. haan.. tu yeh pair ring thi na to mujhe dono kareed ni pari aur meina kareedli," Rohail said as-matter-of-fact. "Haan to agar apna rings mera lia kareed thi to apna aek khud kyun pahenli?" Seher asks Rohail looking straight in the eye. "Good Question, why would I do?" Rohail thought to himself. "Woh tumne kaha tha ka mein aek ring lalo," Rohail smartly with a smirk as put all the blame at her. Mentally, he patted himself on his back for his quick thinking. "Lekin mein apko kyun doge agar mera pass ring hoti do couple jaise to mein Aahil doge na apko kyun?" Seher asked almost angrily not understanding Rohail. The smile instantly fell of his face. "Aabe yar yeh Aahil phir sa agaya," Rohail thought irritably.
"Haan woh kya haina... agar yeh dono rings koi married couple ya engage couple pahenta hai to unki shaadi ya engagement toot jaati hai," Rohail lied indignantly even though he knew his lie really, really stupid but he didn't care. "Asa sach mein hota hai," Seher asked serious but suspiciously at the same time as not believing it but not taking a chance either. Rohail couldn't believe it. She really took it seriously! though Rohail not able to believe. "Woh to pata nahi... lekin kya tum try karna chahti ho.." Rohail asks innocently though he even knew very well that she would never say 'yes'. But just to make sure she took him seriously, he even move ahead to remove his ring. "Nahi.. nahi.. its fine you're friend and its like friendship rings.. so its cool.. you keep it," Seher said quickly and just then Doctor walked in much to their relief. Neither of them wanted to talk about this topic again because of their own reasons.
The doctor did her check up and then nodded. "Ok. You are recovering fast. Sab kuch to theek hai bas aek kaam aur karo. Din mein do bar yaha pay jo bahar garden hai wha jake thora chalo," seeing her protest, he continued, "I know thora dard hoga but tumhe chalana parega Seher if you ever want to walk again." she stopped protesting,"Good." He turned to Rohail and continued, "meina wheel chair mungwai hai, yaha sa garden tak tum isse wheel chair pay la jao aur phir waha say isse support deka chalwana. Lekin haan, dehan sa bohaut zaada pressure na dalna iske pair pay. ok?" he gave the instructions. Rohail listened to his instructions carefully and nodded. The nurse came with the wheel chair and helped Seher sit in it. Next Rohail took her out to the garden. On the way, he kept talking and making conversation. He finally got there.
Garden...
The weather was beautiful. It was another late autumn day. Though the sun was out, one cannot feel it's heat. Light wind was blowing Seher and Rohail's hair. "Mausam kitna acha hai," said Rohail smiling looking around. It was a beautiful garden: a lot of trees and flowers with benches in the middle to sit.
"Haan bahaut. You know its my favorite weather," said Seher looking around. "I know," Rohail mumbled as he tried to park her wheel chair. But the stupid brakes were not working. He tried again. "Hey Rohail," called Seher. "Haan Seher bas aek second yeh breaks atak gaya hai," called Rohail without looking at her as his attention was on the brakes. "Arah Rohail, leave that. Yeh dheko Aahil," Seher called out. "Oh no, not again," groaned Rohail hearing Aahil's name. "Abhi nahi Seher..." Rohail told her as he got down to see the brakes.
"Arah what do you mean abhi nahi? Abhi to time hai! Pata hai kab se nahi dheka hai isse!?" Seher almost sounded offended, "Hi, Aahil!" yelled Seher. First Rohail ignored her but then the meaning behind her words registered and he instantly stood up. He looked where Seher was looking and who she was waving so happily. One look and he groaned, "You gotta be kidding me!"
Rohail saw that guy was walking to them. He was bloody good-looking, Rohail admitted grudgingly. His expensive shades were covering his eyes, (he knows they are expensive as he own them also). He was wearing a branded black suit with a white inside and black tie. Everything about him screams money. He walked to them and greeted Seher as Rohail stood their gritting his teeth. Next, he turned his attention towards Rohail, "Hi, I'm Aahil. Thank you so much for taking care of my fiance. I have no idea how to pay back." Aahil said with a smirk as he offered his hand for a handshake to Rohail.
Stun would be an understate to describe how he felt right now. Shock would be better. He look down at his hand. One look at Seher, who was smiling at him, waiting expectantly. He gave him a firm handshake, a little to firm, if you know what I mean. "Hi. I'm Rohail. Seher's..." he look down at her and smile,"...friend." Rohail finished with his killer smile that said the-battle-is-on.
"Friend.." Aahil repeated as if putting his head around this word, "Ok! That's Cool. That works for me because you see I'm kind of possessive about my love," he said as he took Seher's hand sitting beside who happily obliged. While Rohail stood their tight-lipped not knowing what to say or do. Aahil and Seher were talking to each other forgetting that somebody else was there with them. Rohail looks away in anger. Just then the nurse walks towards them, "Ji Hume Seher ko abhi laka jana hoga uska MRI karana hai yeh dhekne ka lia brain mein kitna damage howa hai. Aapko to pata hi tha na Dr. Tariq na to pata diya hoga," The Nurse explained.
"Ji Haan mujhe pata... Aap laka jana chahti hai ya mein la aao," asked Rohail looking at Seher with a smile. She smile back. Seher and Aahil had stopped talking as the nursed approached them. Aahil noticed their exchange of smile and didn't look very happy about it. "Mein laka chali jati ho waisa bhi mein unhe hai lana aye thi aap thori dar mein unka room mein agayega mein unhe wahi pay laka aoge," The Nurse told him. "... Aur haan aap pareshan mat hoiyega sab theek hoga," She said encouragingly with a smile. He smiled back and nodded.
Rohail turned towards Seher, "Toh Seh..." before he could even finish his second word, Aahil interjected. He came in front of her and sit down on his knees. "Tum jao aur apna MRI karao. Mein yahi hoon. Everything is going to be fine," he said with a smile as he hold her hands in his with a big smile. Seher smiled back and squeeze his hand back. While Rohail saw this interaction, he wanted to beat this Aahil guy so bad for holding her hand. "How dare he! Kaisa himat hoi uski yeh sochna ki bhi ka woh uska mangatar hai... Arghh," Rohail growled. He was so pissed off! He so wanted hit something hard, preferably Aahil's face so it would finally lose the smirk.
With one last squeeze, Aahil got up. Seher attention went back to Rohail. "Aap kuch keh raha tha na? " She asked sweetly. Rohail couldn't help smile. Seher always had that effect on him. She always diffuses his anger unless she is the reason for it but even then she would also pacify him, Rohail thought. "Haan bas yahi keh raha tha ka darna mat..." He wanted to say I'll be here for you or that everything is going to be fine but Aahil had already said that Rohail thought grimly. "Don't worry. I'll be fine. Ab Aahil agaya hai to mujhe kuch nahi ho sakta," Seher said to Rohail. Rohail thought somebody punched him hard in his stomach. Suddenly, he was out of breath. But holding himself together, he smiled at Seher because she was waiting for it. "Aah... its like we have a smile connection. Or more like approval interaction," Rohail thought as she always looks up to him for his smile even more than his words. "Theek hai ab tum jao," Rohail said as he motioned Nurse to take her. With that note, the nurse took her away.
Now there was only Rohail and Aahil standing in the garden. Suddenly, the light Autumn breeze has turned into harsh cold wind of Winter or maybe it's the mood that they both create when they gave each other those cold glares that has no warmth or sympathy. "You can leave now. She doesn't need you," Aahil said as he straightened his suit indifferently. "Oh, Really? And Why would I do that?" Rohail questioned him ironically as folded his hand on his chest. "Kyunka she doesn't need you anymore," Aahil said after pausing to look straight in his eyes. "So you are trying to say that, she needs you!?" Rohail said sarcastically as he laughs mockingly, "Woh insaan jo uska shuhar ka samna uska mangatar hona ka dawa kar raha hai," he asked with his eye-brow raised.
Rohail could see he had hit some right buttons. Aahil's face has lost all its colors. He turned his cold gaze at Rohail pining him, "Don't worry! Shaadi ka cha mahina baad divorce mil jati hai.," he said with a known smile, "Tum phir woh sirf meri biwi ban gaye aur tumhare ex-wife," he concluded grinning evilly. This time Rohail lost his smile. He was just about to answer him when the Nurse came running to them. "Kya howa?" they asked together. "Aap dono please mera saath aeye," she said and walk away. They both followed her inside the hospital.
Inside the Hospital...
Rohail and Aahil both follow the nurse to Seher's room. There she is tucked in her blanket and sleeping quietly. The doctor is standing by checking, but for what? Rohail wondered. "kya howa Dr. Tariq?" Rohail quietly asked when he himself didn't utter a word. Dr. Tariq turns around and look at them both. His eyes almost pop out of his socket when he realize that the other guy was Aahil. He quickly walked to Rohail and ask him in loud whisper angrily, "Yeh yaha kya kar raha hai?" "Iss sawal ka jawab mera pass bhi nahi hai lekin aap mujhe ye batao ka Seher ko kya howa? Woh theek to haina?" Rohail asked. "Haan, she is fine right?" Aahil also asked who was quiet all this time.
Dr. Tariq look at Aahil and turns his face away in disgust. "Woh theek hai ab.. bas..." He stops looking at Aahil. Aahil looks away not sure what to do. "Agar aapko iss baat ka dar hai ka ussa pata chal gayega Seher ka memory ka loss ka bara mein then let me tell you usse phela sa hi pata hai," Rohail said grimly. "Oh.. lekin kaisa?" Dr. Tariq said getting off-topic but also asking the same question that Rohail haid. "How? How did he find out?" Rohail wondered again. "yeh sab choria aap bata raha tha kya howa Seher ko," Rohail said bringing him back to topic.
"Haan woh sister iss laka arahi thi MRI karna ka lia to lift ka pass ruki lobby mein waha pay tv pay koi news channel pay koi car crash ka bara mein dheka raha tha... tu uski waja sa Seher ki tabeyat kharab hogaye... She started to get flashback of her car crash but as they were much more vivid that she got scared," Dr. Tariq told them. They both nodded. Both were looking at her sleep peacefully. Aahil even had a softer expression on his face when he looked at her. "Meina isse injection daka sola diya hai.. agar tum dono jana chaho to ja sakta ho... woh abhi do sa teen ghanta ka lia soyege," Dr. Tariq informed them.
He turn towards Aahil and asks not-so-politely, "Aur tum! Tum yaha kyun ho?" Dr. Tariq asked with authority. "Mein Seher sa milna aya hoon. Aur waisa bhi usne hi mujhe bolaya hai," Aahil told him as-a-matter-fact. "Kya?" Dr. Tariq and Rohail exclaimed. "But why.. woh kyun..." He started but then he stopped as realization hit him. He close his eyes as if suffering from an acute headache then he rub/caress his face with both of his hands and then took his hands all the way back from his forehead to his neck. Holding his neck with his hand he stood there just for a while. Suddenly, he looks exhausted. He puts his hand down and dig them down in his pocket. He looks at Aahil, who has unreadable expression, "Are you here now?" Aahil nods for once without any side remarks or cold gaze. "Ok then. I'm going to go for a while. You can stay. And..." Rohail started but didn't continue as he knew it would be no used as he won't listen to him. He sigh. With a nod at both the men, he left.
Dr. Tariq look at Aahil. He is ready for his comment. Dr. Tariq even opens his mouth to say it but then thinking better of it just shut his mouth and left with the nurse while shaking his head at the present situation. Aahil's eyes follow his each and every movement. He doesn't talk much so he is normally observing others. As the door close behind Dr. Tariq, Aahil moves his attention to Seher. She is quietly sleeping hugging her blanket as if its her's teddy bear. He smile looking at her. His real smile! The one in which his eyes sparkle.
