At a time when production houses are vying to rope in the best actors and get the required dates, Miditech Pvt Ltd and Balaji Telefilms have already set an example. The actress in question is a delighted Ashwini Kalsekar. To begin with, Miditech offered her the part of a tough lawyer who fights for women's rights in their relatively new show, Parivaar. Consequently, she was asked to make a comeback as the shrewd Jigyasa in Balaji Telefilms' Kasamh Se.

Clever girl that she is, she has accepted both the offers and left it to her producers to fight it out for dates. Sources close to the actress say that she accepted Parivaar because Indira Jaisingh is a positive character, besides Ashwini shares a good rapport with the production house. Meanwhile, Balaji didn't have any clue about Ashwini's other commitments and panicked when the actress couldn't report on the sets on a particular day. That's when the two production houses made special arrangements and now the actress is happily juggling both the shows. "As Jigyasa's character forms a major chunk of the show, creative directors (at Balaji) thought she won't be able to give her maximum to Kasamh Se. So they requested authorities at Miditech to co-operate," says a reliable source.

Vishal Mehra, supervising producer of Parivaar confirms the mutual agreement. "Yes, Balaji had requested us to accommodate the dates. We accommodated the dates because we may face the same situation some time with some other actor," says Mehra.
