Dont love me so much that it only hurts you...
Jiji, I do not want to marry this ape man! Payal whined over phone turning the car key in the ignition.
Now what turbulence did he bring in your life? Khushi chuckled gathering her belongings into her handbag.
Nothing Jiji. Thats the whole problem! Ever since you asked him to handle the business, he had gone insane..no no not insane...He has become mentally retarded alien...
Khushi halted a brief moment to process her crazy sister's theory on Mr. NandKishore. The picture of a Mentally retarded alien being President of her company did not fit well in her brain, and she ended up guffawing.
No wonder why he took forever to ask you for a date.
Oh please dont remind me those dukh-bhari days Jiji. He was more nervous than any girl would be before her first kiss.
I hope you realize you are not giving me good impression of my company's president. I will have hard time appraising his performance.
Do me a favor Jiji, after you are back demote him. In fact suspend him, even better!
Khushi burst into spurt of laughter, coiling her phone charger.
...Chodo Jiji. Why don't I remember that you play deaf ear to my rants.
What else should I do? You leave no stone bit*hing about my best friend.
Jiji, pleaseee do some thing. He is so busy these days that he has no time for me.
Hmm let me think. Khushi walked over to the window, to grab her watch when she spotted Arnav sitting on terrace. I think I got an idea Payal.
Really? Kya?
Listen, being his best friend and boss, I cant scheme behind his back...
Toh?
I am thinking, how about we make your Jiju smack your boyfriend's butt off the chair.
Sisters broke into another round of guffaw..
Fantastic idea Jiji. But when and how?
Very difficult question. When your Jiju ditches his mistress and..
Kya? Jiju and another wom...
Uffooo I meant his anger. So when Anger is OUT and this Khushi is IN, you can plea your case to Jiju...
Jiji!
Hmm?
How are you managing? Is he being very mad at you?
Nahi toh. We are absolutely fine. Khushi spoke watching him work on his laptop. And what else going on. She quickly diverted the topic not to publicize their private life.
Totally forgot to tell. AdiNav warden called me to inform that Anjali Verma visited the center requesting permission to see Sapna's daughter.
You mean..
Yes our Anjali, Jiju sister.
Kyun? Is she planning to adopt?
Looks like Jiji. She put in a request to see the baby. Warden said she needs to get back to her after taking your permission. It seems Anjali has informed about our relation but I wonder why she didnt come to you first.
Because she knows the reasons I am here for. She probably didnt want to bother me. Did Nani come along?
No I was told she was the only one who visited.
Aman?
I dont think he accompanied her.
Find out about that. Until my further instruction, ask warden to take the baby profile off the adoption list. If Aman didnt accompany her, I have a feeling that he is not in this decision. But Anjali is not someone who would proceed with such matters keeping him dark.
Do you want to find out whats happening with them from Jiju?
I dont think they would have shared anything with him yet. They probably must be thinking He has enough problems to be bothered with more, which is why Anjali didnt discuss anything with me even. So lets just play by the ears and we will take it from there.
But Jiji, I heard Sapna wants to settle this ASAP.
I know I spoke to her. She is free to leave the premises any day she wants. AdiNav can care for the baby. But Payal, if Aman and Anjali are planning to adopt, you can call that baby as the most fortunate and I dont think I can find better parents than them. So its worth waiting and taking chance.

Girfriend, this is f**king nuts!!! Aman cried out irritated, joining the ladies for the breakfast.
Language my dear! Nani politely chided smearing butter on her toast while Anjali giggled enjoying all the rebukes he is receiving these days for his out-of-control language.
I cant girlfriend, this is so depressing! Can you imagine me with grey hair? Freaking ones popped up this morning out of nowhere. What will my 16th girlfriend Savita think about me? He winked at their maid Savita as she walked in to drop the tulsi leaves that nani asked a while ago.
Sniggering at him, Nani mumbled to Anjali, Time to celebrate and file for divorce. Lets find us an youngster.
Awesome! Didnt I tell you Savita that my plan will be hit! Savita you just need to ditch your husband and move in with me. We will make great couple, I assure you!
70 year old Savita blushed almost stuffing her pallu into her mouth to stifle the ear to ear grin, while he earned a sharp slap on his shoulder from Anjali.
I wonder if you will ever change at least after kids. Nani teased while the subject of kids reminded him the promise he made to Anjali to think over the idea of adoption. Anjali though never raised the topic after that day, Aman knew that she is eagerly waiting for his decision. And he is also aware that she visited Sapna's child once in the recent times. A hidden truth he came to know from their driver, one day when he couldnt reach her on phone.
But he didnt question nor objected, being the man who gave all the freedom of world to her and who equally knows that she is not someone who pressurizes him for her wants and wishes.
Nani getting up from the table, dabbing the napkin to wipe her lips, she uttered with note of finality, I am going to say the same thing I told years ago to my Son. If you both are planning to adopt make sure you treat the child as princely and priceless as possible. Otherwise it would turn into a curse in the family. We have already witnessed once, I dont want another betrayed Arnav in the family.
With that Nani left leaving the couple flabbergasted.
How did she come to know? Aman asked quizzically.
I told her...
Aman looked at her surprised. But we havent decided anything.
Aman, I am not sure what your decision is going to be in this. But a child would enter in our lives only if both our families agree to it. Our lone decision will not be enough to raise an adopted kid happy. I need everyone's approval on this.
Why are you doing this Anjali? Why suddenly?
Its not sudden Aman. I have been thinking for a while.
Ever since you came to know how wrong you were about Arnie? Aman cupped her face encouraging her speak her heart out.
Ever since I came to know that I destroyed 2 innocent lives, no infact, 4 lives...Adi, Bhai, Khushi, Adarsh.
And like every other time I am going to tell you once again, it was not your mistake. You are not responsible for Adi's monstrous acts, you are not responsible for Bhabhi's decision nor for the fate of that kid born to the broken family.
I dont know how to explain myself. I dont know how to make you understand what I am going through. I was responsible to break so many lives.
And so you want to make a life by adopting that child. And you think you will come out of this self-pity?
Aman?
Oh come on Anjali. Dont start it again. You are not comparing Apples to Oranges here. Its absurd to adopt hoping it would wash over the guilt you have built in yourself.
Angrily wiping her tears, deeply hurt with his words, she lashed out at him, You very well know thats not the only reason I want us to adopt. In case you forgot, let me remind you, the day Khushi peeled the real life of the great ASR who was once begging the streets for few coins, I decided the very moment to give life to at least one kid. I shared my decision on the same day. Time to brush up your memory Mr. Aman Verma..She snatched her cell phone from the table and was about to leave when Aman held her wrist and stopped her.
Pulling her into tight embrace, he mumbled on her shoulders, I am sorry. I didnt meant to hurt you. I am just finding it hard to accept the whole concept. Honestly I dont know what and how to think about it. I need time and lot of understanding of what I am getting ourselves into. Pulling out of embrace, cupping her face, You do know how nervous I get with such complicated matters of life, dont you? He tried to ease the situation and poor soul relieved earning the chuckle from her.
It doesnt need to happen today or this year. I can wait as long as it happens before I die.
Ahh dont worry, God wont risk calling you soon. He needs peace...
Next moment landed a sharp elbow in his guts...

Turning on his laptop, Arnav stretched his feet on one of the lounge chairs laid on his terrace. Wallowing in the luxury of the morning sun, he worked his brawny fingers on the keyboard wrapping up the headlines on the AR's economic report he will be presenting to all the executives this afternoon.
Distracted to the faint beeps chiming on his cell phone, he plonked his laptop on the table and grabbed his phone to read the number prompted on the display. Recognizing the series of digits, the phone number that is yet to be saved, he followed his head in the direction of her bedroom one floor below, visible through the slotted parapet.
His attention was forced back to the phone that flooded with more and more messages, a loud whimper WAIT, involuntarily escaped his lips, trying to keep up with her assault early in the morning.
Good Morning! What are you doing?
Stupid Me asking stupid question! Must be basking under the Sun feeding more heat to your lover Ms. Anger. Sorry..sorry..sorry wont bother your intimate moments.
Leaving to DM [DeleKtable Morsel], letting you know lest you should worry.
He gave the phone a shy to the table in front and continued with his work. The messages stopped, and so did his business brain abruptly.
It didnt take much time for the damage to his brain to happen and he already found himself walking over to the edge of the parapet, from where he will have better view of the street that is connected to the front of his house.
She is no where to be spotted on the street. Sipping his piping hot black tea, he leaned his back against the parapet, reasoning that its impossible for anyone to pace out of sight that quick.
Hope I am not the one you are looking for!
He snapped his head in the direction of the frolic remark. There she stood right below the parapet, in all her radiance, fluttering her brows, generously lashing out her teasing smile.
Straightening his shoulders, uncrossing his feet, he quickly turned away but not before returning a nonchalant face.
Chuckling in triumph, she walked to exit the house. Unlocking the gate, she turned to get a glimpse of him walking away and shrieked to gain his attention...
Oyeee...The cry was frantic and wild with mischief and excitement.
Shocked, surprised, He spun around before he could stop himself, the curiosity bringing the most out of him...
Walking backwards out of the gate, locking his eyes in a titillating stare, Khushi puckered her lips into her palm, then opened each finger to lay it out flat and blew the flying feather kiss gently, batting her luscious lashes with a half-smile.
Arnav found himself holding his breath realizing what just struck his heart in these split seconds. He stalled every damn thoughts of his mind, and turned away from the world that just swept him off his feet.
Try not to miss me too much...Khushi walked away passing her share of captions to the scene.
Arnav shaking his head, his lips curved up into an enthralled quirk uttering Pagal!
But not before he paced few steps, something struck him and he turned around instantly to the street now abandoned by her.
This cannot be Khushi. His Khushi never initiated such intimate moments boldly. He had always known her blushing and quivering in nervousness be it a peck or anything more than that. How could all this be her? He wondered and worried at the same time.
Dialing a number speedily, Aman I wont be able to attend any meetings for the day.
...
Everything fine, Just need some personal time off..I will send you presentation, you may take over. He absently spoke with his eyes still glued to the house entrance where he had seen her last, taking day off just to know her closer.

Dressed in steel grey slacks and blue dress shirt, Arnav turned the bike key to the right to its ignitionbike reversing it out of his house. He must have rode few meters when he noticed a postal van in the rear view mirror, stopping in front of his house. Turning the wheel, he reached the delivery boy in moments and was asked for Khushi Singh Raizada.
She lives next door. What do we have? Arnav asked turning off the ignition.
We have an overnight package for her. The man was about to walk towards her entrance when Arnav prompted, She is not home. You may want to come...checking his time...at the end of your shift, may be around 8PM.
My shift ends at 5PM Sir. If she is not available, she authorized her husband Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada to take package on her behalf. Do you know if he is available?
Right infront of you!
The postman stared at Arnav baffled, wondering what kind of husband is he to to try to send the postman without collecting wife's mail.
Snapping his fingers infront of the postman's face, Arnav snatched the package and sent the man away signing the copy of receipt.
The package read is addressed from Indian Consulate with her Passport in it. Parking the bike, he took out the spare key of her house that Aman gave when they changed the locks an year ago. Both buddies keep a spare key for each other properties, a tradition that they have been following ever since they introduced safe lockers in the AR a decade ago.
Entering her house, he placed her passport on the coffee table and quickly exited but not before giving a rough look around the pristine clean house.
