Of course I can't really quote from them because I don't have a photographic memory.

But what stood out to me was the sex and nudity all throughout the magazines like Stardust, FilmFare, Cineblitz.

Lots of articles discussing sexual exploits of all the top stars.

Lots and lots of affairs were written about - so many that are forgotten today.

I was sitting there reading like 😲

Sridevi featured the most throughout the 80s. There were her cat fights with Jaya Prada, her alleged linkups with Jeetendra, Dharmendra, Amitabh, and of course her marriage with Mithun, her fight with Mithun's wife and mother-in-law. 😆

Then you had Hema Malini who walks around today like some kind of sati savitri. Back then she was in every magazine for chasing married men.

Today the younger generation, when they read about their favourite stars like Kareena Kapoor's parents, they immediately think "Oh her mother Babita was an actress, therefore she must be a legend" when in fact she was heavily mocked back then for her absolutely terrible acting.

Even Madhubala who today is thought of one of the greats, to be honest she was nothing more than the Katrina of the 50s. Her acting skills were poor, but she was the most beautiful face.

And that's how I know, that in 20 years time Katrina Kaif will become an all-time legend. People seem to forgive and forget over time.
