The actor kept the 'Cinemascope' anchor cooling her heels for four hours Roshni Chopra (Zee Muzic anchor) was very excited about interviewing 'serial kisser' Emraan Hashmi in her show 'Cinemascope' (Zee Muzic) at Mehboob Studios. But much to her chagrin, the actor whose film 'Awaarapan' is releasing today, kept her waiting for around four hours. Roshni was upset as she had to attend the shooting of her popular show 'Kasamh Se' (Zee). When Emraan finally turned up, he blamed the 'traffic' for the delay.
However, the air cleared as soon as the two got talking. Roshni says, "Yes, I did keep waiting for hours. But I guess his film is releasing and so he must have been in the midst of a lot of things." She continues, "Emraan was extremely professional and was great to interview. That he caters to the 'rickshawallah' bracket is a myth. Instead he came across as intelligent and charming. The stereotypical image that I had of him was busted —and for the better."
Comment on him being termed 'arrogant' and Roshni pooh poohs the allegation. "He is not arrogant. He is just reserved and focussed about his work." Will she be seeing his film 'Awaarapan'? "My dear friend Salil Acharya is debuting in the film. So I will be seeing it with him," she says.
Incidentally, Roshni, who recently got married to director Siddharth Anand Kumar ('Left Right Left', SAB), is enjoying playing the mean sister Piya in 'Kasamh Se'. "All of us have something negative in us. My character is more confused than evil," she explains.
The actor, who had debuted in the English film 'Let's Enjoy', is also excited about the cameo she has played in the forthcoming film 'Bhram'. The show 'Cinemascope' will air at 8.30 pm on Zee Muzic.
