Khushi walked in the room with Maya in her arms. She looked around and arnav was not around, hearing the water run from the wash room, she knew he was in it. She placed Maya in the centre of the large bed and gave her feeding bottle. Putting pillow barriers around her, she walked to the recliner and picked up the file. Looking into the file she remembered the events of last night and smiled to herself. She put back the files with Arnav's other files and opened the french door connecting to the garden and pool. She swiftly turn around to see Maya who was still busy drinking her milk and saw that she was ok she decided to water the plans.

As she was about the end of the garden towards the other wing, still watering the plants she looked up, as if someone is calling from there. She stared at the lone door at the other wing than shaking her head thinking that she was imagining things she continued her chore.

"Khushiii..."

She frozed, she knew she heard someone called her name in an unnerving wishper.

"Khushiii..." it came again as if the wind was calling her name.

She looked around but there was no one. She was sure that she had heard the sound come from the other wing. She stood there staring at the door when again she heard her name called in a mysterious way.

"khushiii..."

in a fast reflex she dropped the water can on the floor, and took two steps towards the door as if she was under some hallucination. she was about to take another step when she felt a cold large hand touched the back of her shoulder and then shaked her lightly.

"Khushi.." she heard a husky voice call her our but it took her alot of effort to recognize the voice as if she was lost somewhere and the voice felt far away!

Gripping her a bit harder and than shaking her even more harder, she came back to present as she turned and looked she saw Arnav with Maya in his arms trying to grasp her attention.

" khushi, are you alright? where were you lost?" he asked her gently.

She looked back at the door and then back at him. What was she suppose to answer when she itself was not sure of what she heard. Not wanting to look like a lunatic infront of him she shaked her head and smiled him.

"you sure? was his concerned reply.

"haan baba! chalo!" she said casually with a bright smile and put her hand forward to take Maya in her arms. Carrying her in her Arms, khushi walked infront of Arnav but realizing he is not following her she turned to see Arnav who was staring at the door lost in some thoughts. She called him out to gain his attention. Seeing him lost, she wondered if he also heard anything but then again she remembered anjali telling her that the room used to be Lavanya and his, she made up her mind that maybe He was reminisceing his past. She just let the matter go and called him again, breaking his thoughts he just smiled and walked back behind her to the room.

She placed Maya back on the bed, seeing the milk bottle half full, she gave her, Maya just made some baby shrills, grabbed it and started sucking it back laying on the pillow. She turned to see Arnav and thats when she realized that he was shirtless wearing his slacks only talking on the phone. She started admiring her husbands body. She was roaming her eyes all over his body and when she looked at his face, she turned red. He had caught her ogling at him and when she looked into his eye, he winked at her. She tried to cover her act and the shame of being caught by arranging the already arranged pillows. Arnav just smirked at her and continued talking on the phone.

He was about to cut the call, when he heard her mumbling that she was gona take shower and walked into the washroom and closed the door. He walked to his closet to take a shirt, he heard someone knocking on the door. He randomly picked a white shirt an wore it on just buttoning two buttons from below.

He turn and saw Anjali standing at the door with her radiant smile.

"Good morning chotey!" saying that she walked over to him.

"Good morning di! how are you?"he smilled at her as he ask.

"I am ok only but guess my brother dont need me anymore! Even after he returned he did not come and meet me but ran straight to his wife" she sulked

"di..I came back last night late, you were sleep by then I dint want to disturb you!" he held his shoulder while he spoke to her.

"achaa? I thought you could not resist your wife!" she smiled at him cheekily and continued "where is she?"

"shower!" he replied monotonously

"ok! so hows things with both of you?"

Before she could continue, he cut her off..

"speaking of that, why dint you tell me who she was?"

"who she was matlab? I told you naa" she acted confused

"I mean that we were friends and all that and dont lie to me you don't know!"

"owh so you found out! thats great naa! and just so you know I didn't tell you because she told me not to! Now leave all that, since you know what you going to do about it?

"whats there to do? we will start of as friends first di.." he said looking at his sister deeply!

"than?" she asked him happily

"than we will see where it goes!" he answered her staring to the space

"oye, what are you thinking?" she broked his reverie by twilding her thumb infront of his face.

"nothing.. its just dont you think she needs to know the truth?" he asked her whishpering so that Khushi does not hear all though she is in the bathroom.

"what truth chotey? anjali asked him feeling all riled up

"the truth about Lavanya, di and dont act like you don't know about it. " he asked her angrily

"what the hell chotey? whats wrong with you? you are the one who told everyone Lavanya is dead and thats what I did. so now why? dont you think Khushi will feel betrayed if now I tell her that Lavanya is not dead!" she asked back equally angry with her brother.

" yes di for the world that women is dead, but Khushi is family di! dont you think she has the rights to know before moving on with this relationship." he told her as if to make his point stand.

"ok fine, if thats what you want than go ahead! but its for you to tell and not me! but make sure you tell her everything so that she does not feel cheated! and khushi is my responsibility, you hurt her I wont keep quiet, Am I clear?" she told him with a stance in her eyes!

"yes di, I promise! I am doing this so that I can let go off my past and start up fresh with her with no secrets inbetween. " he said sighing!

"dont worry! everything will be fine, I just hope she understands! " she said as she wiped her tears feeling the pain her brother has been feeling from his past.

"di?.."hearing Khushis voice both Anjali and Arnav composed themselves.

"morning Khushi!" Anjali said cheerily!

"morning di, aap yahan?" khushi asked her gleefully

"just like that, I came to meet chotey and than I thought I will bring maya down with me." Saying that she carried maya in her arms and walked out of the room leaving Arnav and Khushi behind.

Khushi turned around to go to the dresser when she heard Arnav call out her name!

"Khushi.."

"ji.." she replied feverishly

He walked towards her, she looked up to him as he stood near her. he saw her wet face and a few strands of her hair sticking to it. He placed her back gently behind her ears. Still cupping her face he spoke to her gently.

"Khushi, I may not remember what was our past but right now I can assure you I will try to work this relationship and I don't want any secrets inbetween us anymore! When the right time comes I will tell you an important matter and with this things might change between us but as for now lets try to work our friendship first. I know khushi I had asked you to be my daughter's nanny in the name of my wife and I am sorry for that but know I would like to change that, lets start back afresh.. please?"

She had tears in her eyes hearing his plead! What ever he said was not important as all that mattered to her was that the love of her life is willing to give their relationship a chance when she thought it was only meant to be a dream that she will never get. Feeling on top of the world, she hugged him tightly.

Arnav feeling elated with the hug as he understood the underlying answer, he called her name huskily. "Khushi. ."

"hmm" was a shy replied

"thank you!"

She pulled back Infront to see his face confusedly and she asked "for what?"

"for everything!"was his reply and they both stood there staring at each other a myriad of emotions going on between them.. The Shrill of his ring tone broke them apart.

He answered thw call, while she moved to the dresser to get herself ready. After completing herself she turned and saw Arnav fiddeling with the buttons of his shirt with one hand as he was busy with the phone in another.

She came infront of him, while he raised his eyebrow to her in confusion but with out replying him, she started wearing his buttons for him all the while staring intently only at the buttons and no where else while he was still talking on the phone he looked at her silently. After wearing his buttons, she went to the closet and took his west and also tie and put it on for him while he just followed her lead. Finishing his task, she looked up to him and signaled that she is going down which he merely nod with a smile.

All this while they did not realise that they had a visitor near the pool who watched them enviously. The person ears and nose was twitching and the eyes was full of rage. Thinking to oneself

"how dare she? how dare she get close to him! and why is he letting her, owh dear looks like they will spoil my plans.I cant allow this! I must do something fast!"

I know confusion confusion, confusion! dont worry guys the story is moving in its phase and soon everything will unfold! just be patient!
