Aamir Khan and co. had planned to launch the second poster of P.K. on August 15 -- around the same time when Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan are coming up with the trailer of Happy New Year. Now the former Khan has changed the plan.

Is it to avoid the clash with Shahrukh Khan's Happy New Year? Aamir Khan has shifted the launch of the second poster of his upcoming film, PK by five days, reveal sources.

It's learnt that Aamir has asked the film's team to move the launch date to August 20, five days later than the date previously decided. The actor has even confirmed the news.

It's clear that Aamir Khan does not want any clash or comparisons with the Farah Khan film Happy New Year, and apparently feels that since their first look launch date was pre-decided, it would be a right decision and a fair one, too, to move the date of PK's poster launch.

Aamir Khan created much flutter on the social media with only a boombox hiding his modesty in the first poster. Seeing it, the moral police went into a tizzy. The intriguing poster also invited a series of jokes on Aamir. Though most of them were snarky, the makers haven't changed the promotional strategy of the movie.


The next poster of the movie will not even feature a boombox, claims Aamir Khan. As per insiders it's going to be more shocking than the previous one.

Any kind of publicity is good publicity, right Aamir?

Meanwhile, the Happy New Year team is gearing up for a big trailer launch. Shahrukh Khan, who has produced the movie, is looking after every aspect of the event. The movie is releasing this Diwali.
