did she actually get that "getting fair/white" thingy done.. she looks kind off different here and there was a rumor she was getting something done

There is just no one else like her...good, bad, loud, brash, whatever you want to call her...I just find her so GENUINE to watch...and I can't say that about most actresses in the last 20 years...time has passed, but Kajol remains an ORIGINAL piece...they really don't make 'em like her anymore...apart from the usual loudness that everyone complains about, what stands out is her FIERCE love and loyalty for her family...the kind you only read about in fiction usually...but she is old school in that thought process...probably cuz her grandmothers raised her and that's left an impression on her vis a vis what it takes to fight for and keep your family together.

The rumors about Ajay aside, they do seem to come across as a solid unit...and that's probably cuz she is the one that has given up the most in this relationship...again a very old school kind of thought process...but that is her choice to make...she is one strong woman otherwise.

Best part in the interview was when she was talking about her kids. She seems like a great mother.

And I do think she uses fairness cream..or something because she looks lighter than usual. It seems like all dusky actresses are getting lighter these days..but never thought Kajol would because she liked being natural.

She should have applied that same whitening mask on her hands too. You can see that her hands are original color.

I like her honesty because it's not toxic. Her disliking a lot of people and living in her own world is probably a defense mechanism from getting hurt. I like the fact that eventhough she doesn't like a lot of things or people in the industry, she doesn't put anybody down to show herself in better light.

I didn't like her boisterous personality or her clothes. You can be honest yet composed. Just like our films, bindaas means noisy here too.

Despite being so brash and outspoken, she does have some very old fashioned values-living with her in laws, standing by her husband despite his affairs.

She seems like a romantic metamorphosing slowly into a practical person as life is going by.

Think of the song... Tum itna jo muskara rahe ho, kya ghAm hai jisko chupa rahe ho...when I look at her.

How long will she hold the facade? I cannot help but wonder.

I loved the interview. I feel either you love Kajol or you don't. There's no middle ground. I love how she speaks her mind. How many people would actually be so blunt about their stance on the whole issue with Aditya Chopra? She just bluntly said how Ajay was right and the other side wasn't. And, as others pointed out..she seems to possess old school values..and I love the fact that family has always been her first priority. I'm really looking forward to her film next year. I've really missed seeing her onscreen.

I personally find it hard to hate Kajol. Since I have a weird laugh and can sometimes be super hype and loud--I can totally connect with her. I like that she is ok with her flaws and isn't a fake. She doesn't put up a different persona and sticks to her gut. I think she extremely loving and so warm to the ones she calls her people. To me she's charismatic ON and OFF screen. There's something about her that's really geniune.

And I agree with chocolover about the little SRK b/c Kajol is more than one jodi. I feel like no interview is complete with some mention of SRK or KJo in it.

She's a very dedicated and loving mom and I get the same vibe from her mother. I think her kids def won't be spoiled and she does a good job of keeping thigns down to earth.

Not necessarily. I think Ajay loves her a lot. Some people feel that showing it all the time isn't required.

Biggest example is my parents. In the last so many years, I didn't see him get a valentines gift for her, or anniversary gift for her. but the fact he is so caring towards her is enough. They love each other incredibly..

I think same goes for Ajay-Kajol. Ajay is a not the "lover" boy kind of guy but he deff loves her, and his family.
