And about his looks... I think he's pretty damn fine 😳 Plus, I love most of the stuff he wears - he looks stylish in both suits and casual wear. 😳

I was put off by his act in MTH but he was so so good as Humpty..the guy will go a long way. We seriously under estimate such loud roles..they are not that easy to play..varun is adorable through out not going OTT even once

I think all SOTY stars surprised. SOTY was such a cheesy kitschy teeny bopper film that people dismissed the stars.

I don't think Varun is a phenomenal actor. But he has an ease, style and sense of humor like Govinda that can carry films.

Varun is a lot like Pari for me. She ticks a lot of boxes that should make me automatically like her because she is supposed to be like Kajol, my favorite ever, but something is missing and not just the same for me. I find myself liking Alia instead.

Varun reminds me a lot of Salman. He ticks a lot of Salman like boxes for me which should make me like him, but again something is missing or just not the same. I find myself liking Arjun instead.

Ranveer is the only one who reminded me a lot of SRK in the beginning who I also like, but has such an identity of his own, I had to like him too. 😆

I have been pleasantly surprised by all three actors in SOTY though I just found it terrible, one of the worst debuts of all time IMO. But that blame should squarely be laid at KJO's door for his abysmal direction..😡. All three of them have improved vastly from where they started IMO.
