Now I am completely confused by this show.
Has Neelesh Misra abandoned this ship for good ? Characters make no sense.and that goes for all 4 key characters.. Nikumbh, Azam .. Y and Shaheen..
Raghu is still consistent but that's about it..
Shaheen's monologue..about girl's rights was quite good and I connect with this as a desi girl but was cringing at the cliched approach of getting her to make that statement 🤢 DDLJ hangover ?!
Why are CVs not thinking outside the box.. Shaheen's dream was to go to a dance bar and imbibe alcohol ..not that there's anything wrong with it..but so cliched.. and cringeworthy..I expected more from CVs.
Execution of entire Shaheen and Azam .. one evening/night out was really sub-par. Both actors deserved better material..
On Nikumbh and Y .. adventures... predictable.. and Nikumbh's character is being caricatured now as well.
On positive.. Y realization and calling for a truce was nice but she comes across as opportunist and still self involved and bipolar.
Nikumbh improvising his lines in the play... was interesting indeed...
Did I hear him right ? Did he use the word "pyar" and asked Y to step away with him as couple.. Is he already in love ?!
In any case.. Nikumbh now looks like a complete contradiction when he improvised those lines.. bec those lines were very filmy .. I am interested to hear his justification for doing this as I am sure Azam will quiz him on this..
Not knowing much about this new play being enacted..hard to say if this was in tune where the final shot was headed..or not..
Overall.. CVs have made all key characters behave differently...
Its still a good show and great writing when compared to other shows
..but it doesn't pack the same punch when NM was in charge.
NM..please come back soon and help us stay connected with the characters..😊
